Emailed my DA this morning curious for an update. He called a bit ago. Same line but I didn't push him at all. My VIN should be coming by the end of March or very early April with a deliver then 2-6 weeks, So, pretty much as expected for my January 5th Reservation, Red, Mojave, 19"

Still holding onto a sliver of hope I will get it for my May 20th trip.

Sounds like Jan confirmations with red/Tahoe are coming through before December red/Santa Cruz. I’m guessing you’ll get your car in Boston before I get mine.

actually I don't think mine was held up much. arrived in Millbrae Monday ... ready end of today.
Vin was only issued 9th March
That would have to be one of the quickest turnarounds from VIN to in your hands.

definitely feels like production is accelerating... 14 days is damn quick... and means I will have received the car within the 4 month window (confirmed 30/nov).

Did DA mention a VIN swap? I do think some of this is pure roll of the dice with the production issues a new company has.

161 today, down from 198 on Monday - this is important because despite likely constant production, they have hauled away (or taken back into factory) at least 37 cars.

via this post:
  • March confirmation holders look for VIN around first week of May
  • Wunderbox charger delayed due to regulation testing

Just heard from my DA (although only after emailing him first, because he has not been in touch since all the action last week). He said, "We have your vehicle in production now, with a projected window for VIN assignment during the 2nd week of April." I'm hoping he's underpromising. He also said they expect the car to "ship within a few weeks" once a VIN is assigned. Pretty vague, but probably all he knows.

Gray, Mojave, 19" wheels, reserved 12/2019 and confirmed 11/8/2021. That puts delivery if all goes well still 6+ months past confirmation, missing the window pretty significantly. Can't say I'm really surprised though. I expected going into it when they said Q1 that it would more likely be Q2.

As others have said, we're in a fortunate position to be able to purchase a six figure car, so looking on the bright side, every week of delay means more bugs will be worked out by the time I'm behind the wheel!

Further confirmation that grays are "in-production" though it sounds like it is likely early stages of production.

Just received my purchase agreement and invitation to pay. Reached out to my DA to see what that means for delivery date but haven't heard back yet. Anyone have any idea what the typical time is between payment and delivery?

I believe invitation to pay is an indication that your car has arrived at it's final destination and the last step is final inspection (others can correct me). Are you picking up at a service location or home delivery?

It really varies by quite a bit. The biggest factor is the PDI, but I would say a minimum of a week

Someone above mentioned they got invitation to pay yesterday and are picking up the car this Friday, so can go pretty quick if final inspection goes well.

Looks like things are slowly picking up steam. I wonder if I would get mine in May (a man can dream, right).

I'm in the same boat as you. Reserved 12/2019, confirmed on 11/2 - Gray/Mojave/21s.

My DA told me last week my car was in production and scheduled to be painted this week. Targeting a VIN around 4/7.
