Lucid Party @ Gravity Reveal-LA AutoShow November, 2023?

I'm also looking forward to see the Gravity up-close in person. Just curious, what interior features you find quirky?
As a lot of owners have suggested, I would have liked to see a different implementation of the sun visors to better experience the glass roof. I also find the retractable Pilot Panel a bit gimmicky and hope they moved to a fixed screen higher up onto the dashboard. Lastly, I hope the layout of the cupholders, USB ports, and wireless phone charger was improved. I love the materials and overall design, though, and I expect nothing less with Gravity!

I agreed with you on the sun visors part and wireless charging. I find the pilot retractable function to be useful. Unless I interact with it often, which I don't, I just slide it out of the way so that I could use the storage space for a box a tissue.

Design was nice, but it is hard to see what material they could use for that outside of plastic. Maybe metal? That would be good..

This is the tacky design one I was talking about, as it looks like scratchable piano black with some metal accents. I hope they go the range rover approach where what you think something feels like is what it actually is(metal is actual metal, etc). In that case, I have no problem. Mercedes has a similar design in their cars with their manufaktur Piano Black stripes.
It's near impossible to tell what this is. I have concluded that it's a background image on the Curved Display. Cannot think of any interior part/material with this pattern.
Perhaps it's to show that the new Glass Cockpit Curved Display will be CONTINUOUS, and not be separated into 3 sections!
And we all know what that means...perfect for CarPlay 2.0!!!

LA was definitely not better 13 years ago, it's improved immensely the past decade. Anyways, WAIT LIST ONLY NOW for the event. If ya didn't get in, ya not getting in!

Darn! Just when I finally got my companion confirmed. Now wait list… oh well…

Bummer. I replied yesterday early afternoon and got waitlisted. Perhaps next time. 😢

This appears to be the same thing in the door wells of the Air and a pedal right after. The photo was just taken in intentionally misleading lighting. No black but perhaps just shadows from the video.

No problem, I’ll say hi behind the velvet ropes 😭
You bring your key fob &/or Lucid App and grab me. Let's see what happens from there

The LA convention center has lots of parking and it’s cheaper than the hotel parking fees at the downtown hotels. The JW and the Ritz are in the LA Live Area which is like LA’s failed attempt for a mini Times Square. It is safe in that specific area and there are a few nice restaurants and I think it’s just a 10 minute walk to the convention center. There are always food trucks inside the convention center for the show so y’all can try the Korean bbq burritos 😜
A friend of mine recommended the AC Marriot which appears to be .2 miles, half a block to the convention center main entrance. I have a free place to stay if I want to drive for 50 minutes, but a place that close sounds tempting.

Peer pressured into the JW Marriot. Just down the street. AC is cheaper and probably equal quality.

This is patent picture 3 years ago.

Confirmation from Lucid HQ that they are encouraging Lucid BH to help me plan something for Sat. 11/18 morning. No other details but this is AWESOME! I also have emphasized that with such short notice, I'm looking for something GOOD not great! Calendar it and I will get back to you as things become LUCID! ;)
