They didn't tell me that. I would actually be very happy if they gave me that reason for the delay, as it would be actual information. The only info they have given me is that my car has not been shipped (2 weeks after telling me it was shipping shortly) and I should not expect delivery within the next 2 weeks (I was asking about that timeframe for a very specific reason). They have given no reason why, but did eventually answer my timeframe question.
ahh, yea, come to the forums for more info! j/k they should be better at this already, especially after that meeting...

Nope. I got an email from a different DA that it was about to ship 2 weeks ago and since then it has just been silence and then non-answers to my questions. The most I could pin them down to was that no, it would not be delivered within 2 weeks (this was last friday). I know from the studio that it is in their system as "scheduled for delivery", yet my DA hasn't told me anything beyond "final stages of production".

What about you? I see our specs and VIN date are the same.

I had the exact same experience ..absolute radio silence after an email that it was in the final stages of production .

Reserved AT on 11/8/21
confirmed and upgraded to AGT (Silver/Santa Cruz/21” wheels) on 3/3/22

Tomorrow another batch of November confirmations hit the 4 month window. So here are the numbers so far:

22 Confirmations at or beyond the 4 month window
9 have received VIN numbers (41%)
4 have taken delivery (18%)

Considering it's running 4-8 weeks from VIN to delivery, it looks like 60% of the early GT reservations could be looking at 6 months from confirmation to delivery.

Exactly 4 months since ordered. Not a peep from D.A.

@mnewber1 Apologies in advance to everyone with a Grey/Silver and/or Santa Cruz interior. Received my VIN today. Confirmed 12/14. Red, Tahoe, 21".

DA said to expect delivery in 4-8 weeks.

I guess that leaves me alone for the Red/Tahoe from December batch with no VIN.

Congratulation, I’m in your batch, but I have Santa Cruz :(

Hopefully it is this bolt issue that is causing all the silence and we will have momentum soon!

You will be the first at both the Grey exterior and the Santa Cruz interior if you get your VIN. Please update when you do.

Well Lucid certainly isn't off to a good start. With so little cars coming out of the factory and to have one recall under its belt and potentially another if any of these cars actually made it into a customers hands, it's not a good look. Peter's words of "automotive perfection" don't seem to have passed down to the factory floor.

its pretty clear about the production schedule. It looks like, on the forum with the exception of @Mattlca and @Steve11ca, everyone who confirmed by the end of last year with a red/black/white order and not a Santa Cruz interior has a VIN. Those who do not have a VIN ordered either a grey or silver car or a different color with a Santa Cruz interior. it is sounding like Lucid is now getting ready to go back to the first batch and start processing the Grey cars.

I think we've confirmed that changing your order does impact your place in line. I think you had mentioned earlier that you upgraded to a GT from Touring in November but had reserved in May. That seems to have been what bumped you to a Dec confirmation. Bummer, but hopefully this means that you're up next. Fingers crossed. On the other hand, I don't think the idea of keeping your place in line if you make changes has any merit.

Upgrading shouldn't bump you, people who confirmed in November 30th but had a reservation date earlier than those who confirmed on November 2nd (for example) got their VIN first (cc: @Pete44).
