Tell us more!

I woke up today and the first thing I thought of was the crisp air of Sonoma in the morning. What I'd give to be at that venue watching all the new owners flog their cars.

I bet its weird to not smell exhaust, race fuel, and hear all the motors roaring to live.

Congrats to all the new owners and to Lucid. Simply amazing.

Eric Bach from Lucid said a number even higher. Perhaps a lightweight, well lighter weight, "GT3RS" or "LT" version.

But she's already quicker than Bugatti's so there's little point.
I know lucid won't do this, but it would be bonkers if they just went all out performance. Actual cup 2 r's, an better aero package, maybe wider tires.. it would break records I am sure.

I think they will. My other little query is, and YES ABSOLUTELY it's ultimately irrelevant, but possibly I don't know, I'm basing this on the twin drive prototypes, but I think 400km/h might be within reach, perhaps.

See I've never said too much but I'm an absolutely MASSIVE Bugattisti and for the 0-400-0km/h runs are important.

Fanciful? Wishful thinking perhaps.🙂

Are you at the event @Sapphire™ ?

Really outstanding event by Lucid at Sonoma. The DE are impressive and the Sapphire takes the performance to ridiculous levels. On the street the Michelins are great and ride was better than on the Pirelli 21s. Easily replaces the DE as daily driver.
1/4 mile runs were prepared surface but otherwise 100% stock, there were sub 9 runs. Mine was 9.07.
The cars would loop around and do run after run.

On track it was stable predictable and the torque vectoring really helps rotate the car. Amazing car.

Now there's a ridiculous number. 60-130 in 4.35 seconds? So the second ”0-60” from 60-120 is done in ~3.75 seconds. That seems very impressive to me.

Ha. I didn't realize that was you Bill. What a great day and night. Tons of pics but videos are too big for this site. Just got in after waiting in the In & Out drive thru for a half hour. What a fricken bullet. It does everything right. Did a couple laps with Ben"The Stig" Collins. A third lap and I would have hurled. As you can see on Bill's sill plate "1 of 6". Only 6 in this run sold to the public. They need to churn out some other models and then back on Sapphires in about a month.

The dual motor is capable of 1341 hp. They explained the limiting factor is the battery. I believe at least 1200 hp are at the rear wheels.
