Is getting time for me to have my Air transported from Cali to TX. Really nervous about having it transported. Any recommendations for a service provider familiar with transporting Lucids? I’ve had other cars moved but never my EV.
Used your referral code to get my Lucid. Signed paperwork on 03.19.25, took delivery on 03.20.25. Thanks :)!
Just picked up my Lucid AT this week. Fell in love with driving all over again. Best car I’ve ever driven. Full stop.
Hey,
I'm planning to close on a new Lucid GT on Monday and have filled out the paperwork. Can I use your referral code? Has it been used more than 3 time this year? The sales guy says I have to use a code that is still active in the current year, and if I use a code that's been used too many times, I can't change to another.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark, that's great to hear! You will love your car! Unfortunately, my code has been used 3 times already, so please pick someone else's code to use. Grats on your new ride!

Thanks, and thanks for checking. Would you mind telling me how you able to know how many times it has been used. I got another response from someone, but the person didn't know if his had been used yet or how many times, so I wasn't sure if it was valid

In the app, they can check referrals under their account. Online in the owner's portal under the referral program will show how many have been used.

As far as I know it's still available and has not been used. If so, you're welcome to use it. And congratulations . . . you're going to love this car.

Awesome. Thanks for all of the help. I'm doing a weekend testdrive of a Grand Touring and loving it.

I'm planning to close on a new Lucid GT on Monday and have already completed my paperwork. Can I use your referral code? Has it been used more than 3 time this year? The sales guy says I have to use a code that is still available, and if I use a code that's been used too many times, I can't change to another.

Hey I’m using your referral. Thanks for posting. Is there anything I need that you are aware of?
Thanks for the code. Went with yours because of the profile pic. Being that I'm a Terp, it was near impossible not to choose yours!

Much appreciated. I'm actually a Wolverine but I have a bunch of MD terps gear because I have a lot of pet turtles. Small world. Congrats on the new car! 🤘
Hi!

Thanks for your reply.

I am in Great Neck, so extremely close to the Manhasset show room, and not far from Plainview center. Where are you located?

I actually went to the Manhasset show room for a test drive - loved the car. One pedal I got used to pretty quickly, though it felt strange. The accelerator feeling heavy was also an adjustment. But amazing drive overall. I do not have a lead foot at all. I also don't drive a ton day to day (4 miles a day... maybe an additional 50 miles twice a week).

What was your experience getting your car? How has charging been for you? I assume you charge at home?

Any tech gremlins or things I should be aware of that hindered your experience?

How is the sound system, that is one thing I did not check.

Hey, I apologize for neglecting this. I'm in Syosset. Charging has been inconsistent. At home, I get about 80 miles per hour on the CHC at 80A. I've noticed that charging at hyperchargers is much faster in the summer than during other months.

Tech gremlins...just remember that you're driving a computer! Sometimes a therapeutic reboot is necessary. What I usually do is, once or twice a week, I leave the blinker on and walk away from the car. When the car locks, it's a bit of a "soft reset." If you make a habit of doing that, it will help resolve many of the issues that can arise from long uptimes. Try to keep your fob or phone (whichever you use) far away from the car, as it may start to ignore you if it keeps unlocking due to proximity.

The car is a dream and has completely transformed my perspective on how a car should be. Are there software issues and quirks? Of course. Tesla has over a decade's advantage. That said, we have three vehicles (one of which is a convertible), and we often find ourselves arguing over who gets to take the Lucid. I think that sums up the experience in a nutshell.

The SSP is amazing if you use Tidal; the sound is much cleaner and immersive.

How has it been for you?
Question re: iPhone and Apple Music. I followed the link you provided to turn on lossless, but did not see option for Audio Quality. I am not currently a subscirber to Apple Music, is that option only shown if I subscribe?

Thanks

How to turn lossless on or off

  1. Go to Settings > Apps.
  2. Tap Music.
  3. Tap Audio Quality.
  4. Tap Lossless Audio to turn it on or off. From here, you can choose the audio quality for streaming and downloading audio.
    • Lossless for a maximum resolution of 24-bit/48 kHz
    • Hi-Res Lossless for a maximum resolution of 24-bit/192 kHz

Honestly, I'm not sure! I'm a subscriber to Apple Music, and I do see the option, so it's likely that is necessary.

Thanks for your reply to my message!

Little software glitches would only annoy me if I could not drive the car, but it sounds like that isn't what you are describing.
Is there a lot in the area? Is that the Manhasset show room? I know the savings is 2k for anything on the lot. I am in Great Neck so very easy to get to! But I see King of Prussia is the place that has inventory.
Pure is RWD... how do you manage the winter? I was planning Touring for this reason. I don't have the money/space to get dedicated winter tires.
Do you think/know when the credit will go away? I don't plan to order until June if all my research is positive (so far so good!)
Hi,

I see that you live in LI like me, and I would like the perspective of someone who lives close.

I am interested in eventually leasing a Lucid Air Touring. I am not far from the Plainview Service Center, and the Manhasset showroom.

Can you talk about your experience with getting and owning the car. Whatever you are willing to share would be helpful! I've read a lot on the forum, just looking to get a local perspective.

Thanks!

Lucid will periodically offer free upgrades and/or special lease rates. I was ready to complete the deal on a basic Lucid Pure RWD when I got a call from my sales advisor who located a Pure AWD with this extra equipment. They said it would be exactly the deal I had on the basic car but I could have the upgrades at no cost.

The tear was very small. It was the black/dark gray PureLuxe material which feels like a good quality leather. Very soft and comfortable.

Where/which sales advisor did you work with? Sounds like they went the extra mile for you!
If you don't mind me asking are you on a lease, or did you buy outright? If you leased, are you considering upgrading/purchasing at the end of the your lease? If you bought, do you have any regrets? I know you think highly of the car, so this is good to know.

I bought, and have absolutely no regrets. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned. When I bought the lease pricing was not good, so buying made more sense. If leasing was as attractive as I’ve seen it at times over the last year, I might have leased. My sales advisor, Ted Ziemba, was located in California.

My only concern is not with the car, but with the financial stability of the company. I know most think the Saudis will continue to throw money at Lucid, but there’s no guarantees. I knew that back when I bought and so far things look good.
