💯 this for me too.
 
100% would buy again and no regrets. I have really no issues over the last month. My wife doesn't drive, she never liked any car I have ever owned. This is the first one she likes, no clue why. But yeah, note she doesnt drive it but for her the car feels nice and "easy". is quiet and comfortable ...

It seems that folks had 0 issues ever with any other car they have ever owned, because half of the complaints I am reading here are things I had with my Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes or Range Rover and nobody would NOT buy these cars because of these software/hardware glitches. Range Rover software is absolut garbage, black screen every other day taking 1 minute before it turned on. Never heard anyone complaining about this in any reviews I saw online of that car back then. Or at least they are not making it such a big deal as for Lucid.

Are there some annoying glitches, yes. Are they live altering, no. Can they be fixed with future SW updates, yes. I really hope over the next 6 months they significantly improve things with SW and also bring features they promised.

I also find it funny how the term "wireless" went from "acting at a distance" to "snap together with 1mm of plastic in between" :p

You seem to have the characteristics of an early adopter and/or a historically, well informed buyer.
Perhaps nobody would not buy those cars possibly because of the reputations, status, and other aspects of those brands and therefore were/are willing to put up with the glitches.
I grew up with older siblings who drove Porsche, BMW, and MB.
I heard about the issues, but as you say, they dealt with them and continued enjoying and purchasing.
I hope Lucid attains that status one day.

Perhaps "back then", online owner forums were not as prevalent as now.
Mostly car reviewers like Consumer Reports, perhaps.
Online owner forums allow people to vent their frustrations and regrets; reasonable and unreasonable ones.

" ... they are not making it such a big deal"; could be.
Expectations vary and as much as anyone may advise about setting them, each person sets theirs. Reasonable is relative.
Between the experiences of my older siblings and others over my lifetime, along with the early adopters of the Air, I think my expectations are reasonable.
Fortunately, those expectations have not be challenged; absolutely love my GGT.

I started visiting this forum early last year to learn more about the Air. I was tired of the significant shortcomings of my Audi EV, and was looking for something better. I had heard the Lucids had "issues," so I was wary. After reading a bunch of the experiences here, I decided to go ahead and buy one. The car has been awesome. My friend here has a Pure and his is awesome. This forum is a distortion field. I would def buy again.

And see, I have had a '22 Land Rover for 4 years and have zero issues. Since they updated their infotainment software to Pivi Pro (which I think LG Elec. had a hand in designing) from InControl back around '21 their electronics have been much better. (ADAS still in the dark ages though IMO).

Do happen to have any issues with call quality? I’ve seen folks noting problems with calls and wondering if these are one-offs. Thanks.
 
YES I would purchase again, in a New York minute. Air GT 2025 -- yes I've had glitches and software issues but this is BY FAR the best car I've ever driven.
 
Interested to see what posters on this thread will say now after 3.3.20 has been released...?
 
I already said I’d purchase my GDE again, and now most issues seem to have been solved
 
even though Ive ad a few hiccups (had to get new steering wheel assembly, software didnt update and had to be repushed, and delivery had issues with them not setting up the car correctly to add my profile at forst) it is by far the most fun car I've had to drive and would absolutely recommend it
 
Yes - I would buy again. I have had my 2025 AIR PURE for 13 months now, and except for terrible key fob design, all works well. It is fun to drive and beautiful to look at!!
 
I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone that OSS looking into an electric suv in this price range. I used to have a BMW x7 M50 and then switched to electric. My Mercedes eqs 580 suv is close to lease end and I got a gravity last week. This is the best car i ever owned. It pacs the best experience from Mercedes the BMW x7 M and probably our neighbors suburban into one car. The few software errors are mostly false errors.
 
I waited a little over a year to get my GGT fully loaded White/Tahoe 7 seater. It was delivered with no physical issues and only one or two software related glitches. Those glitches have all largely gone away and were never a bother in the first place, but the latest software update took care of the rest for me. This vehicle is hands down, the best vehicle I've ever owned. When I share it with friends, they say the same thing. Friends comparing it to a top Range Rover, Escalade, Merc, all with the comment that the space, tech and comfort is unparalleled.

I know not every vehicle is this glitch free, but it is truly an exceptional vehicle.

3.5 years in with AGT and I will *not* buy it again. Fantastic design, great ride, smooth, fit, finish, luxury, etc .. BUT the software bugs are a misery to live with. Was an enthusiast, but no longer. :-(. (I used to own a MS.)
 
3 years in with my AT and I would 100% buy again. Best car i've ever owned hands down. The limited software issues I've had can at times be annoying but it doesn't diminish my personal ownership experience significantly.
 
1.75 years in on my Air Touring, and I'm mostly happy with the mechanical aspects of the car (drive, interior space and efficiency) While its better than Tesla in terms of "luxury" is does not yet hold a candle to BMW and Audi. The UX and Software is disappointing. I expect to keep this 3-4 more years and if those aspects are not better, I will certainly be cross shopping with other brands that do continue to improve their offerings. Time will tell.
