UPDATE:
mobile service was at my house for an unrelated issue. We got it to work by taking the case off and turning the phone upside down
I also talked to the service manager separately. Asking if maybe there is way to move the sensor around. He didn't think that was a possibility.
Anyway this is not a high priority item for me..

I am guessing the charger coil assembly is not in the right spot. You should have service fix it by removing the trim piece and check the charger coil assembly. It is likely it is not clipped on properly on the back. Thick case should work.

Twraps is a forum member. If you change your mind and want to get the very cool dual charger, I'd ask him if they work with the iphone 15. The variable is how thick your case is....
