Is there a reason Lucid doesn't give a summary of what their next OTA updates will entail? Is this too much to expect or industry norm?

I don’t think I know many big companies that do this. Such as Apple or Android, they host a developer conference every year but not until it’s available to at least some audience.

Yeah, as someone not in this industry, but that deals with software releases, we generally don't like to announce stuff before it's a sure thing.

must admit, having now driven the car, the list of enhancement requests I have is growing. I was going to suggest an dedicated section of the forum (where we can delete posts on delivery woes)

A wishlist section is not a bad idea, especially if @mnewber1 doesn’t mind curating it. Would also mean he could split wishlist posts in other threads over into that section.
