My AT25 has been on software 2.4.1 since getting it two months ago. Finally got a prompt in the mobile app to update car software to 2.5.0

Any reason not to update and wait? Or any issues with 2.5.0 that I should look out for when I update?

I'd update, as you don't want to fall too far behind. And put some air in those 19" tires?

Thanks for the suggestion! The 19in tires are down to 46 psi from 49 during 15 degree weather. Figured putting it back at 49 would get it 52+ once temp warms a bit. Should I fill them to 49 now and then lower later when temp goes up?

Just want to be sure you know that the tire pressures displayed on your app are the last recorded pressures on your most recent drive. They are not the tire pressures at the time you are looking at them on the app.

Good call. Will give it a drive and see how psi looks. Thank you.

You ask a good question though. Will inflating 19-inch tires to 49 PSI undriven on a cold morning end up at too high pressures once they are running hotter on the road and/or when the ambient temperature goes significantly higher? I'm guessing that they can handle a reasonable swing without causing a safety issue, but I don't know for sure.

Yes. The normal recommendation is to check and adjust tire pressure monthly. 49 psi is recommended when tires haven't been warmed up by driving (called "cold") Pressure will increase a couple psi above the cold inflation pressure after you drive several miles on the highway. This is accounted for by the tire manufacturer.

When I lived in Arizona year-round, I always got a chuckle when temperatures first fell significantly from the summer norm. That morning, cars would be lined up around the block at Discount Tire, as most everybody's TPMS systems would alert a significant tire pressure drop. As crazy cold as many parts of the US are right now, I imagine that similar TPMS alerts are happening a lot.

Um… while I do agree to the importance of tire pressures in EVs …can we get any feedback on the aforementioned software update? Potential future owner here, interested to hear about any improvements, however large or small.
