I received an email this morning (below) inviting me to a private reception celebrating the Grand Opening of the new Lucid Studio at Tyson's Galleria. I plan to attend on Sunday. Anyone else going?

I am about 3 hours away. I got the invite.

I am 30 minutes away from this service center and I was told I would get an invitation a month ago but I never got it. Very disappointed…
I was also told that I would be among the first few cars scheduled to be serviced at this location, but no one contacted me to schedule the appointment, even after I emailed the service manager a few times…

Nope. DC/Tysons is 125 miles away and a straight shot south via Route 15 through Gettysburg, PA for me. They missed me. However, we are getting snow today so I would have had to wait until tomorrow anyways. I'm going to wait until KOP's grand opening.

The new service center is amazing!

I also was able to talk with Marvin and get all my PA taking care of. It should ship to Chicago this week and fingers crossed to have in about 2 weeks.

When/if I need my next service I certainly hope that it’ll be Tyson’s vs Sandy Springs.

It's a new service center at Tysons Galleria, supposed to be the largest on the east coast. As an owner, I was told to forget about the showroom .

They still plan on providing mobile service, unless the job requires them to lift the car or take larger components off. They also said they will have a number of Lucid loaners. The expectation is that if you need to drop off the car, and customer care directs you to the service center, they will have a loaner ready.

So no more flat bedding cars to Richmond for bigger jobs? Game changer for how long service will take in the DMV.
