It isn’t just one of your holiday games;
I don't mean to rend the site threads all a-tatter,
But time for a fun topic; I hope it doesn't fan flames.

The app wants us to name our Gravity -- what have you named yours?

Ours is (at least for now) "Blixtbjörn", which is roughly "lightning bear" in Swedish.

I don’t have a Gravity but I’ve always thought a cool name for a car is Afeela… but Honda already stole that!😂😂😂😂
Actually, Afeela is just the model name, like Air or Gravity. So a person could name their personal vehicle that. Although I have no clue as to why anyone would want to.

Lol, my sarcasm takes liberties. Honestly, who in Honda/Sony PR thought that Afeela would be a good name for a car??!!
I was at a presentation for the Afeela a couple years ago and that question came up. According to the man from Sony/Honda, the A's at the beginning and end stand for autonomy and automation. The "feel" is because you'll feel wonderful when you're in the car.

Many years ago, a friend moved to Japan for a job. She was hired as a native English speaker to edit the English phrases that were widely used in Japanese marketing. To her surprise, her corrections were often rejected. Not because they didn't trust her English, but rather just because there's a certain Japanese aesthetic for words that just didn't match with proper English. I suspect the whole "Afeela" thing makes much more sense to a Japanese person than it does to a native English speaker.

How about” one of four” a nod to both Star Trek and the four fundamental laws of universal attraction of which gravitational pull is one? Along the same vein how about” event horizon “
The point at which gravity gets so strong around a black hole even light folds in upon itself. This would be best for black Gravitys or ones that have a mat black wrap

We called ours Newton.

My kids used to named my cars.

We went through a artist period, then a Transformers period, and one Percy Jackson.

1st X - Pablo
1st 3 - Claude
2nd X - Monet
1st RRS - Picasso
2nd RRS - P2 (Picasso #2), we lost some creativity here.
3rd X - Optimus
2nd 3 - Megatron
Taycan - Percy (cuz it's blue)
1st Lucid (there'll be more Lucid I'm sure) - Newton

Thinking possibly Gravitron. Like the old amusement park ride. Thst name always stuck with me for some reason. Must be fate!😂

I named my AGT Henry, after NFL running back Derrick Henry--a brutally powerful and fast running back. However now that I have driven it a bit, I have settled on "The Beast."

Current vehicle is Big Blue, might just name her Byss.

That would explain a lot. I wonder if anyone like her was on hand when Toyota slapped "TRD" on the sides of their Tacoma pickup? 🥴
