hello fellow lucid owners…

Just got the air pure two weeks ago…. After the last update (camera related) my cameras are not working. Just went through initial troubleshooting with customer care and still getting “surround view monitoring error”. Any advice? What am I dealing with and how long does it take to fix? Customer care opened a ticket. Not happy with this situation. Grrr.

Sounds like a camera went bad.
 
Getting the same message. Happens off and on. I have not been able to determine a pattern. Sent pic to customer care. We'll see.

Today, I encountered the surround monitoring error, and the turning cameras were non-functional. The only operational camera appears to be one of the rearview cameras when the car is in reverse. Despite reaching out to Lucid, attempting multiple reboots, switching profiles, and allowing the car to sleep, none of these actions have revived the cameras. The local service center, just 10 miles away, has no available appointments until the end of February, which feels like an excessively long wait for addressing a safety feature issue. Additionally, there's uncertainty about the potential need for ordered parts and the time it might take. While I love the car, these challenges are becoming frustrating. If anyone has suggestions beyond what I've already tried, I'd appreciate any advice on resetting or restoring the system.

Sorry to hear about your issue. When all of the above you tried have failed, it may need recalibration at the service center. It has happened to me before. But sometimes it just "comes back" - no explanation 🤷‍♂️

This happened to me twice in the past week. Service Advisor will "get more data" and get back to me.

To those that have dealt with this in the thread, did it get resolved and what did service do to resolve it?
 
I’ve had this problem pop up on me twice, two separate occasions and a few months in between. All of the cameras were unresponsive with an error on screen or blank screen for the turn signals. Have not figured out what the underlying issue is but reboot via Air logo did not remedy the issue. Locking and walking away for a few hours, allowing the car to sleep, seemed to do the trick at least in my case. All cameras came online as expected when I got back into the car. If it happens again I’ll check with service. Sorry it’s not a real fix
 
I just got my car back (2022 AGT) from the Natick Service Center which fixed this issue. It had happened occasionally in the past, but after the last two OTAs, it was happening daily and with random cameras not working: 360, directional cameras, back-up camera, etc. sometimes for minutes, but sometimes for hours. They would then randomly come back. From what I understand there was one camera that was at fault, but since there are now different versions of the cameras, they were all replaced and have been working flawlessly since I got my car back. Excellent service, as always.
