I don’t think this is the case because mine is a 2023 built in October with a 2024 steering wheel on it now.I'm not that lucky, so I can only imagine these issues are the exception, not the norm, at least on post-2022 cars.
To me it almost seems like the people with older cars don’t have the fit/finish issues like the newer cars. More complaints I read are from late ‘23 owners.
Anyway, here’s the part number for my “new” wheel that still creaks.
