I have a disconnect between my app and the vehicle. The App shows Version 3.2.2 but the gravity itself shows 3.3.1. Any ideas for how to reconcile the two? I tried deleting the app from the iPhone and reinstalling. Its preventing me from using the "Live View" feature.

I have the same exact issue. I reached out to customer care who said they will work with the OTA team to repush the software. Haven’t received the update yet.

My Air has randomly rebooted itself once already since the new OTA, apparently providing less robustness than claimed haha.

Found this small bug.

If I go to the charge menu on the panel, the range display shows "--", then clicking on the info icon it also shows "--" for both rated and dynamic range. However if you look at my top screen it clearly shows both dynamic and rated range.

It happens fairly frequently. I don’t have to reset the car, but you have to wait a good 20 second to a minute for the screens to come on. Oddly, the car now wakes via the app super fast, but I’d say 30% of the time I get black screens when I get to car. Many Air folks complained about this a while ago but it got fixed, so I am sure they’ll address it on Gravity.

I did the reboot sequence, not sure if it work. Just held it for 20 seconds. And slowly all the screens came back.

It worked. You can listen for a chime when it is ready for you to release.

The black screen thing seems to be an intermittent bug in this release; you don’t actually have to reboot, you can just wait. But rebooting definitely feels like you’re doing something heh

But yeah, that’s how you reboot and that’s the behavior.

My sense is rebooting neither speeds up, not slows down, the waking of the screens. As @borski said, if it makes you feel like you’re doing something, go for it!

My preconditioning workaround does seem to decrease frequency if the black screens, but not full eradication.

Ugggggh just got stuck in the grocery parking lot because my key wasn't detected. My gravity doesn't like this update. It was more stable before.

I was sitting in the car for a few minutes before I remembered I had my backup key.

Have you gotten the key fob update from service? If not, schedule that.

Mine complains semi-regularly to shake the key, but if I do (or if I put the fob in the center console spot), it works fine.

I’m told the key fob update at service fixes it.

Agreed except for console spot. When I put fob there, I get “key not detected” consistently every couple of minutes. More so than if I leave it in my pocket. It’s odd.

But I think my center console is like the Bermuda Triangle.

I must have missed it - what is your preconditioning workaround?

I precondition the car about 10+ minutes before I get in with a/c and it seems to lower the incidence of black screen syndrome. Not perfect, but does happen less frequently based on totally unscientific testing.

Came to the car today and completely black screens. It won't do anything.

My car is now starting to do that more often than not (whereas before the update, I NEVER had black screen issues). Usually if I wait long enough (30sec to a minute), they will eventually turn on but that's very frustrating. I did have one instance where I was convinced it was not going to come on and I exited the car, locked the door, and came back about 30 seconds later and everything worked normally. This is definitely an instance of 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

I have encountered 2 new bugs regarding SXM:

1) Today on one of my drives, upon entering the car SXM started playing music normally on the last channel I was using from the prior dive....however, upon trying to switch channels, it was as if the app was completely frozen and would not respond to touching any of the other channels on screen.

2) On a different drive from the above, I had a new bug where the usual box to the right of the speedometer that tells you which station/song are playing on SXM was completely missing and that area of the screen was blank. SXM was otherwise working normally though.

Both issues self resolved after parking the car and coming back to it for my next drive (without reboot).

Anyone else’s app warn them there windows are open every time you turn on air from app to precondition car? It will still turn on, I just have to confirm I am okay with.

Mine has constantly done this since day one. I thought it was due to my wonky window.

Mine is hit and miss, but there are times where I am like WTF app, and then I get into my car and my kids have moved the window down like 1/8 inch and then I forgive the app. Sometimes it's completely wrong though =P

It’s probably deliberate. It’s illegal to drive a vehicle without a working speedometer. Screens black, you can’t see it, illegal. It actually makes the vehicle unroadworthy and you could be fined or face citation if you got caught driving a vehicle without a working speedometer. Makes sense why you can’t put it into drive when you’ve dead screens, Lucid would be playing with fire if they let you do that.

Lucid apps shows my GDE software is 3.2.2, but in my car I’m at 3.3.1. I’m unable to see live link in my app.

I stopped by the service center today to get my fob updated. Unfortunately that didn’t work. I still get “key not detected, shake to wake up”.

Service advisor could see my car is 3.2.2 in his system but my car is 3.3.1. I’ll call lucid tomorrow to figure out what’s wrong.

I mean ok no screens. But let me drive.

So my glass cockpit left side worked fine. But it wouldn’t let me put it int drive. I could put it in reverse. It finished waking up after a minute, but I was nervous.
