Size Comparison

I thought @Tesla2Lucid was there. But I am not sure if he can comment further due to NDAs, etc.
Indeed I was but thankfully, @borski has been fielding the questions internally here, while I have been doing my due diligence externally on X/Twitter and Instagram. Me & my tens of followers: An influencers work is never done! ;)

They have compared in multiple interviews the space inside being almost as much as a Chevy Suburban and the length is just smaller than a Audi Q7, so it makes sense I'd see those vehicles or similar in any comparison

Yes, and the total length difference between 180" and 200" is quite a lot for daily usage in Europe. Not at all for the USA I guess.

That's the irony with the behemoths plowing American roads. The people who buy them don't seem to mind having to pilot and park a massive vehicle usually built on a truck platform with the ride and handling that implies. But they are hugely annoying to drivers of sanely-sized vehicles who have their forward views blocked by them, who have to squeeze by them on narrow streets or in parking lots, who have to park next to them.

We were parked next to a new Escalade at a restaurant the other day. You literally would have to bring out a stepladder to clean the windshield. Even an extension wand would not work from the ground. It was so comically gargantuan that we actually laughed at it walking up to our car.

Of course, there is a reason the automakers are making them so huge. A wrinkle in EPA regulations lowers the fuel-economy restrictions on vehicles beyond a certain size, meaning the automakers don't have to worry as much about efficiency the larger they make the vehicle. The reason people buy them? Less clear and probably quite varied.

I have seen the Gravity prototype twice in the flesh. Knowing that it actually has more passenger space than that Escalade simply leaves me slack-jawed.

But then I saw the video clip of the Gravity whipping through the autocross course at the technology event last week. At that point, my jaw detached and fell off.

We have 3rd row similarly done in our car (additionally the 3rd row seat can be easily just removed, but they are relatively small seats, not full size). That's why I always sad to see other significantly bigger cars (especially electric cars) that just waste the space. Glad Lucid does it right. That's also why I believe they can implement optional 3rd row in their mid-size if they'll decide to do, and they can implement it better than it's in Model Y.

That third row in our Tesla Model X is really designed for children, amputees, housepets, or really agile and little Filipino (redundant, I know) family members.

Does anyone know how high off the ground the bottom of the rear cargo hatch is, e.g. how high does my dog have to jump to get in?

It's not high. Watch any of the videos that just came out - the Out Of Spec Reviews might be a good one to see it. It's described in multiple videos as being very low - ie top of kneecap low. I know that's not a universal unit of measure, but it's much lower than a typical SUV would be.
