Significant price drop!

I have called several times, left several messages, and heard back from only one person since I last posted to be told, sorry, no go. They refuse to budge in terms of offering me a car with the deals you posted. Really hard to understand. But again thanks for all your suggestions. The good news is that I just got a delivery time on my Rivian. Of course I terms of cars, totally different and I would not even try to compare them. What I can compare is the quality of the messaging and interactions with their staff. It's like day and night. Ever since Rivian's debacle over the price increase and rolling it back, which at least for me was great, they have been spot on and very clear on their communications. Long ago I was assigned a delivery specialist who was always available -- never waited more than a few hours for a call back. They have an on-line portal to schedule calls as well, and I have always been able to schedule a call the same day. And most important, they seem informed and knowledgable, unlike many of the people I have dealt with at Lucid, if and when I can reach them. Again, not comparing vehicles, but if pre-ownership experience is any indication, I honestly am somewhat relieved.
Unfortunate! It doesn’t make sense not to give the discount. Enjoy your Rivian!

Thank goodness. I would have been incredibly tempted to replace my GV60P if that deal were available and I would have had to (a) take the depreciation hit on the GV60P and (b) get no sales tax benefit on the sale of my GV60P.
Steve, after driving the Lucid for a day it’s well worth it, deal or no deal! Genesis, what Genesis? ;)

I should give a shoutout to the delivery team at the new Plainview service facility. Ours was actually the first delivery for the facility (complete with a confetti celebration) and the team couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.

This dude (below thread) wanted SS Pro included at no cost back in April, Lucid balked so he cancelled, and now they have the SS Pro credit. Somebody better let him know 😅😅

I was just talking to my wife. The price seems to simulate EV tax credit during grandfather pricing, except about $2,500 more. Folks should be quite happy indeed about the new pricing, except those who just bought at 15k more plus ~10k here.

Those people are doing some of this: (ノ`Д´)ノ彡┻━┻
what is lucid going to do for you since you just paid 10k more?

Nothing. They shouldn't do anything either. The price is the price at the time of purchase.

I have had great service for anything that has gone wrong with the car. Have there been a few hiccups? Sure. Is it anything earth shattering and unforgivable? No.

Only those who feel entitled to an exception from the norm are (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻.
