I wish the executive back seats were still an option!
I wish they can make that an option in the future or give out rights to aftermarket upgrade.

They will

They will be...in Asia
Yes, thus they are going after Korean market. Entrepreneurs there have status symbol whenever one can have chauffeur with Mercedes S Class. This car has such roomy back space like Bently to be chauffeured around.

Does anyone think it’ll be practically possible to upgrade the seating after the fact? Without completely tearing down the car and building it back again?

Not really,
In Jeep Wrangler, the are basically tons of after market gadgets and swags you can swap out with factory ones, the tricky part is how to disassemble. Usually, there are shop just pay them labor to do it for you.
