Should I stay with 2.10 and my cccv1 or nice to upgrade and get the 2.11?

There is that issue of 18K left in the lease payments. Lucid does not allow lease transfers. I have an ongoing case of lease buy back, but looking at Lucid's service and financials, I am not sure that they will take it back. Maybe I got a defective car, but Lucid should take responsibility.
What year, and how many miles?

I am amzaed how people are so loyal to a failing company which makes a bad product. It is either ego or sunk cost fallacy.
It is not all inconceivable that a large number of owners have had a positive experience. I get that your ownership experience has been a miserable one. Maybe that’s the fault of Lucid or maybe that’s on you. But your experience is your’s and your’s alone. And if the car is making you that unhappy you have choices. No need to disparage others.

Yes, exactly. I would ask the same from you

Don’t quote and do block trolls.

Definitely go for the upgrade - the new displays / screen flexibility are worth it. As someone posted somewhere else - time-travel back a few years and imagine getting an entirely new upgraded display without having to buy a new car! Lucid did a great job - I stopped using CarPlay and now use the new Lucid screens. A small investment for a much more enjoyable driving experience.

Remind me:

The old Air navigation is based on HERE maps. I found HERE maps to be inaccurate when it comes to city/street routing. Hwys are OK. Is the 2.11/UX3 on the air (CCCV2) still based on HERE maps?

I hava scheduled CCCV2 upgrade scheduled for Dec 1.

maybe that’s just how it’s implemented, Amazon delivery also uses HERE and it’s actually accurate.

Yes its still here maps but with google POIs

Yeah, I agree with you. I know that Amazon used HERE maps as well and Amazon doesn't seem to have problems.

I do agree about keeping the expectations from Lucid REALISTIC. They can barely make a reliable car, asking for quality of life updates is too much.
You obviously have gripes, but the great majority of us have had a more positive experience.. I had more service visits with a Panamera and a BMW 850 over the course of similar 3 year leases than I have had with my Air. The other cars did not give me opportunity for OTA updates -- and both had some Car Play glitches.. I also never had field service to do things like replacing a seat cover or repairing trim, I liked my Lucid enough to buy it off the lease...

If you have a documented service issue which qualifies under your state's lemon laws by all means you should pursue it, or dump your car..

I'm very leary on doing this. I have really no complaints with how things are in my 2024 air touring. Zero issues. Sure there's a slight lag at times, but worth 950$? I have zero issues with the software, and from multiple posts, 2.11 had some bugs. What's not broke, why fix. Not the same theory to consider, but...
I do love technology upgrades, but I'm starting to feel, regards the rush, and wait until 2.12 etc
My Pure came with the v2 and it was upgraded to 2.11 by someone while it was in the body shop (minor repair due to falling debris) and I'm glad it was. I've never had any issues with the car and the new interface is definitely an improvement. Since I'm playing with your money then, yes, get the upgrade to v2. But, of course, it's a decision that only you can make. As others have asked, "How long will you keep the car?" Is it your last $950.00? How do you feel about the car? Me? If you can love a machine then I do mine.

The navigation is amazing now. As soon as the car loses cell signal, it thinks it is at the Lucid headquarters. This place is 4 miles from me.

I did the upgrade on my 2022 Air. Everything is faster and works better with the new UX. Carplay is less wonky. Navigation moved from being horrible to being pretty decent.

Seems to me this is a bargain!! Of all the things I've paid money into my cars over the years, this is pretty much up at the top of the list, and it suggests a long-term commitment on the part of Lucid. If they want to do the same for Dream Drive Pro computer in another year or two, I'll be first in line to say "take my money!!"

My AGT will be 4 years old in 3 weeks, I upgraded CCCV2 in the spring in anticipation. My sentiments are about exactly the same. I have had to do a couple of soft resets, not a big deal. Android Auto is great, my VPN will mess me up sometimes but again not a big problem. Tidal works great, and remembders most of the time the last play.

I am just tickled to be so updated with a 4 year old car. Had been driving BMW for 40 years. My last BMW was a victim of 3G Sunset, and the "advice" given by my dealer was "buy a new car"!

I did, and it was my Lucid! My non-techy wife still has her BMW.
