Should I stay with 2.10 and my cccv1 or nice to upgrade and get the 2.11?

We

did a full reset of everything
I mean everything
So new profile, new home link, new phone connection (removed all traces from phone, no saved anything), scratch.
As I mentioned in another thread cccv2 + 2.11 = a large change so it makes sense to start over. Or complain about it if something goes weird. You do you but so far I’ve not experienced any of the issues others have mentioned. How many tried a start from scratch update?
I have no issues other than no downloaded maps, which is not really of much concern to me - at this time. So not doing a reset, new profile, etc was not a consideration (I've written probably over a million lines of code and overseen the complex hardware software deployments for multiple companies over decades so I have some marginal perspective on software updates).

If noting a bug (and it *is* a bug) is complaining, I will indeed do me.

I have a 2022 AGT. I was hesitant in getting the CCV2 upgrade when it was first announced because Lucid's promises are often not met or the schedule pushed out by many months. Now that 2.11/UX3 is released and generally to good reviews, I booked an appointment to do my 4-year maintenance and the CCV2 upgrade. While I think the $950 price is on the high side, I plan to keep my AGT for a few more years.

In my case, I booked the appointment 2 weeks ago at the Scottsdale SC. But they won't get to it till Dec 1st. I can still change my mind. ;)
That’s $700 (corrected) for the hardware and it’s been stable forever, meanwhile a TB SSD has gone up by a factor of 6-9 in the past couple of years
950 is reasonable, especially if you consider where the computer is placed. And before anyone complains Lucid would not be the first company that had to put parts in places that are difficult to reach.

et's be precise, it is $700 for the hardware and $250 for installation.

Opps my bad
I blame my mind on being elsewhere while my fingers typed

I just spent the last two days putting 600 miles on my Air and using 2.11. My view, it’s worth the upgrade for the multitasker ability alone. Being able to use navigation on one screen and audio on another is a major upgrade. I never liked having to switch back and forth between screens. It makes sense given the separate panels. I now feel like the screens are doing what they should have from the beginning. And the improved video is a bonus.
Is the improved video the blind spot cameras? I’m considering buying a 2022 Air GT and will have to upgrade the infotainment

Truthfully I don't pay a great deal of attention to the blind spot cameras. I find the mirrors and the blind spot warnings to be all I need. For me the improvement in the video shows up in parking. The hesitancy has been greatly improved when using the front and back cameras while parking.

I found the blind spot cameras very useful, and would 100% upgrade the infotainment.

It is super easy for them to know that based on the results of the charging session and analyzing the data. This it touted to be a luxury brand, with luxurious features, correct?
Disagree….and it’s shouldn’t be a priority for them to find out which chargers work. It’s not their charging network. Please be realistic in your complaints.

If they give me 50K and 1 week of time, I will build it for them. I did not buy a 'luxury car' to get this crappy of an experience.

I do agree about keeping the expectations from Lucid REALISTIC. They can barely make a reliable car, asking for quality of life updates is too much.

I am amzaed how people are so loyal to a failing company which makes a bad product. It is either ego or sunk cost fallacy.
I'm a bit amazed that you still have your car! Why keep something that bothers you so much?

Not everyone is having a bad experience. My 2022 Air GT never needed an unscheduled service visit in the 3.5 years I owned it - only annual maintenance and a few cosmetic touchups. My Gravity GT hasn't had any problems at all in the 7 months I've had it.

Based on this, I could say that Lucid is a great company making a great product. Both my statement and yours are generalizations based on our own limited data, and neither represents reality for everyone.

Some people are born to have bad luck, they breathe negativity. I do hate to see anyone have a bad experience and so I wish the best for anyone that has a bad experience with any vehicle, no fun I've been there. I love my air touring, and that's coming from a Cadillac blackwing, and a GM employee.

There is that issue of 18K left in the lease payments. Lucid does not allow lease transfers. I have an ongoing case of lease buy back, but looking at Lucid's service and financials, I am not sure that they will take it back. Maybe I got a defective car, but Lucid should take responsibility.
