@Cosmo Cruz is collecting one of every trimI’m thinking. But who’s going to buy my Touring
You'll note I'm no longer the highest bidder.Hey, @borski! Did you convince your better half that you need something faster for the next Florida furniture run, or did you just find some serious pirate's booty in that chest?
Lets do a groupbuy... all we need is 50 members to put in 4000 each! We all get the car for exactly one week a year, sounds like a win-win to me!You'll note I'm no longer the highest bidder.
Good idea - that’s really only like one month’s lease payment anyway!Lets do a groupbuy... all we need is 50 members to put in 4000 each! We all get the car for exactly one week a year, sounds like a win-win to me!
Are there 49 other forum members you want to share the car with?Lets do a groupbuy... all we need is 50 members to put in 4000 each! We all get the car for exactly one week a year, sounds like a win-win to me!
I’m in! I’d even be in for four weeks, LOL…Are there 49 other forum members you want to share the car with?
No, that was for a different sapphire. The auction is still up. Bid away!Borski ... on the site you're saying it's sold ? I didn't submit my bit yet...
Just as well. I don't have the fortitude to own such a beast. One of the things I like so much about the Air is that it doesn't look like what it is.
The Sapphire, does. I don't think I could own a car (Sapphire) that draws such attention. I am an introvert but I'd walk right up to a Sapphire, and be annoying.
I deliberately chose and waited extra months for the Cosmos Silver paint because I think it's the most laid-back. I am very happy with it. Nobody bothers me.
When they do ask me "What kind of car is that?" I say: "Electric."
The wife is nice and answers the questions they meant to ask: "It's a Lucid." then you get:
"No, I mean, who makes it?"
me: "Buick"
wife: "Lucid makes it."
She doesn't realize that her answer won't make them happy or stop bothering me. Nobody has heard of Lucid.
If you tell them it's a Buick they will go away.
It's funny but I do think it's reminiscent of a Buick (in a good way) - it's beautiful and has American styleBorski ... on the site you're saying it's sold ? I didn't submit my bit yet...
