For new members of the forum who are contemplating the vehicle and who may sometimes get frustrated by the problems documented here, don’t let that discourage you from following through. Things to remember.
1) The software problems are an occasional nuisance but are being addressed quickly now, with a revamped software team.
2) The 12v failures and drive failures are so unfortunate for those who experience then, but are uncommon
4) Lucid has a very responsive customer service team ; they are easy to get ahold of, if an issue arises.
3) Most importantly, the vehicle is such a blast to drive that usually little frustrations melt away pretty fast when behind the wheel.
When I take my family members and friends for a ride or let them drive, their reaction is universally and enthusiastically positive. They don’t want to get out of the car because the surreal sound system is so damn ridiculous!!!
