Preheating makes a HUGE difference!I think @Westcory did mention his was a 2025. The other very useful tidbit is if the stated efficiency numbers, especially in the winter, are where owners typically preheat/condition their cars while plugged in prior to leaving. This is particularly important to know where short trips are frequent. Although I rarely do that, when I do my efficiency #s are significantly higher. It’s a good habit to get into if you want to achieve higher #s, but I’m just too lazy.

Wow That's awesome! 2025 must have some amazing updates. I'm following your posts to see when you're able to hit EPA rated lifetime efficiency! I'm rooting for you! I think as the temps warm up, you should be able to get there. I believe EPA is about 4.3 miles/kw for 2025 GT?Folks, PLEASE also give your model YEAR as there were important changes to efficiency of the models beginning with the 2025's...
My current "lifetime" (first 700 miles in a '25 AGT -- all winter so far with temps in the 30's) stands at 3.82 mi/kWh. A combination of local and highway. Roughly 60% highway / 40% local.
4.34 to be exact. Remember everyone, the '25 AGT got updated battery chemistry which boosted the pack's capacity by 5.4% (118kWh vs. 112 kWh). I would imagine that they just started using the same pack that the GT-Performance and Sapphire used since those were both 118 kWh packs in the same form factor. It is certainly better for the battery. Whether there is a net efficiency gain would have to be calculated, but if the humans in the car are more comfortable, the battery in better health AND the operating efficiency of the car on the road is better, I still personally think that it is an EXCELLENt practice.Well, when you preheat at home you are using energy anyway. It’s a particularly good practice if you’re headed out on a long drive in the winter, where range may be critical. I mean my habits aren’t any different between all the EVs I have driven and all driven the same roads, climate, and traffic yet the Lucid is the only one missing the EPA rating by ~25%. yup, unfortunately that’s what you’re going to get. The Lucid is not efficient in daily city driving. Teslas…even the big boys Model S or even Model X is far more efficient just putting around town. (People will disagree with me, but it’s true lol). The Lucid motors are tuned for 65-70mph driving. I guess you missed my original complaint. I just did a long roadtrip and it couldn’t crack 3.3 in almost perfect conditions.
