Don’t be frustrated by the “jump through a bunch of hoop” things. They have to try the simple things first. Can’t inundate service centers with cars that could be fixed by end-user resets.
 
Navigation stopped working this am on way to SC. Stoped and reset car, and still didn’t connect.

Wheel still cocked 5degrees left, and tried drive assist one last time before dropping the car off in millbrae.. went right to the dotted line. lol!

They need to fix their shit with better QC before software roll out. The novelty of a 3mo old car that’s going to spend ANOTHER 2 weeks in service is not what I expected. I’m so happy for everyone that has no issues. FYI.. at least a dozen cars at millbrae Sc w similar issues.

My Drive Assist works better than it ever has under 2.6.

I have been away from this forum for awhile, so I apologize if this was addressed in the 23 pages on this thread... but since the update, I have noticed that my seat heaters always start off. They used to remember my last setting so that when I preheated my car, I could preheat my seats. Now I get in the car and my seats are cold. They work fine once I turn it on. But considering my heater is currently on the fritz, my seat heaters are the only thing keeping me warm.

Also, I used to wish for android auto, but the infotainment and nav work great as is. my guess is that once AA comes out, they might start charging for internet connection. I think I'm fine with them taking their time.

Go to climate in the car and hit the icon at the top right; make sure “precondition vehicle and seats” (or whatever it’s called, I’m not in my car atm) is toggled on.

Thanks fir the suggestio .It was on. But I toggled it off and back on again. Still out. Maybe a logo reset then back on. Do the hockey pokey.

I honestly have never really figured out when that precondition thing gets triggered and when it doesn’t.

But you should also be able to remotely turn on the seat heaters now if you have an iPhone; if you have an Android it’ll have to wait until they release the new app but I suspect that’s coming soon (I hope).

This weekend I’ll get it into Home Assistant too.

Got the same issue this morning. The X-Mic-Brake reboot fixed it. First time I ever got this issue, seems like a bug in the 2.6 release?

The update did not fix my camera issue; will have to call CS. The sound seems a bit better.
 
Observed new with Lucid assistance: Before update when i ask to take me to Publix it used to show me list of Publix near me and i need to select now.
Now when i ask to take me to Publix, navigation is going straight to closest Publix. Good update which is not listed.

I am having the same issue - and living in South Dakota I do love the steering wheel heater. I will not stay on - goes off right after I push it.

Yes, several here including myself. See replies 354, 358, 360, 432, 434 in this thread.
In particular reebis44 (#434) "I found on a reddit thread that you can get the heated wheel to stay on by rapidly, repeatedly tapping the button for a few seconds"
