@Negan1000 congrats on new XMas present and hopefully you get it soon. How long did you wait from Preparing for delivery to get the PA?

@vraj83 I got the same answer from Jess today, but no promises or quote on date.
I wanted the 20s but SA convinced me to go 19 because of Seattle weather (rain and snow). Also, the PA comes with a disclaimer that snow chains cannot/should not be used on the car.

Do you plan to keep summer tires or switch to all-season post-possession? I thought about it then stuck on what to do with the summer tires in SEA area :)

I’m likely going to switch to all seasons. I’m holding out hope for an EV specific set of all seasons - which my SA said was in the works for 2023. In the meantime we’ll use my wife’s SUV when it snows this winter.

I’ll note I did see a Zenith Red on 21s out and about in the slush this morning.

My car still shows in production as confirmed by the DA. He said it should complete in a couple days. My VIN was 12/9. I sent my insurance info via text to DA. The PA and invitation to pay emails were sent an hour after the DA said he uploaded insurance on 12/16.

Did you already add the Lucid to your insurance policy when you sent to your DA? Or is just your current insurance information enough?

Thanks for the info. My car is in Preparing for Delivery status but no words from DA yet or any PA info.

Evidence of current insurance is what they are looking for but it has to be good for 45 days. I had both new and old car information to be safe as I approached delivery. (the 45 day thing I understand is AZ but perhaps elsewhere too)

Your current insurance. Your new car is automatically covered by your current insurance (depending on state, for 7 to 30 days). This coverage is automatic and can't be denied. My current insurance company sent the policy to underwriting due to the cost of the car and they said that even if coverage is denied for the new car, I am still covered for the grace period.
 
Just spoke to my DA and doesn't look good for my ZR/SC to be delivered by EOY. Got VIN on 12/6 and the car is still in production. He has White and Gray if I wanted to swap - but no guarantee that can make it to NJ either. Boo hiss...

Did he mention what the hold up is? 12/6 VIN is pretty early, and now I'm wondering what that means for my QG/SC with VIN on 12/12, especially if he's saying there are Greys available to swap?

What is your configuration? My ZR/SC with 20s wheel suppose to be in NJ by this Saturday.
