Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

The specs I listed were what I submitted with my original reservation in March ‘22. I then confirmed/placed that order in August after the email about the EV tax credit. Now with the more recent info about what’s being produced the fastest, I deleted the design I had originally submitted and replaced it with the fully loaded design (inc Fathom Blue).
Okay, but in August that was just for the tax credit thing. No one was invited to actually finalize until November. Did you ever get that invite, and if so on what date did you finalize?
 
Ah, sorry, I misinterpreted what confirmed meant since that was the language used in the tax credit email. No, I haven’t been invited to finalize yet.

Not sure about that. I think phones can generally be a hotspot wifi so Lucid can connect to that and the phone will provide the internet. I'm not sure about Android Auto and wifi as Ive just been using wired cable on my older car

I may have expected, if you went fully loaded, that they would have invited you by now. If you log into the Lucid web site, do you see any sort of Finalize button by your reservation? Or maybe contact your Sales Associate to see if they should be inviting you by now?
 
Have you logged onto your account on lucidmotors and looked at your dashboard? Have you finalized your order under your reservation?
Also, you didn't list if you selected SSP / DDP or standard sound system / standard dream drive on your previous post.
They have just started production and delivery of Pures. Fully loaded Pures are delivering first.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I do logged into my lucid account. There is no option available to "order" yet. I see only "View reservation" .
I never opted SSP/DDP .
Any suggestions?

I got the call and plan to upgrade to the Touring

Most new cars comes with its capability of connecting to the network (just like your phones). I know Toyotas have been able to do this for a quiet long time now. It can create its own Wifi network.

I have the same exact question so thanks for asking it ..people apparently get an email to "confirm" their saved designs but I've not seen that yet either (July 2021 reservation). Would love more precise steps of how it all goes down. Thanks!

I am not sure of the exact steps as they may vary in the website for each individual. But generally when you load the saved design there should be an option/button to “Order” or “Finalize order “. If it is not present i am not sure of the reason.

I reserved January 2021, so I’m now at 2 years in the same holding pattern as you. Who knows what goes on, but in my case I reserved a RWD Pure, so they’re apparently still a ways away from even producing them yet. So I’m not overly surprised I haven’t been contacted to finalize an order

I’m not upset, since with each passing week it gives them more time to iron out the ongoing issues that fill up so many threads on this forum.

Additionally, in my case, we still don’t have a Service Center for 100s of mile, and I live on Long Island! You’d think the greater NY area would have a Service Center by now. They have a proposed site in Plainview, but for reasons unknown construction has stopped. I actually cancelled an order for a Polestar some time ago when I contacted their home office in Sweden and they were unable to answer my questions about servicing.

I wonder if the original Pure that I ordered had to be a fully decked out or near fully decked out one to be in the early wave of reservations..

We hope so, but waiting for IRS rules....I think it's unlikely and you shouldn't plan for it

The others who had Pure delivered already, what issues did you find in your car? I was reading the Touring tracker page and people seem to find issues on their cars bit I only found trunk misalignment on mine. Either my car is good or I'm just really bad at spotting issues or maybe both lol
