I'm glad I took a cancellation(Zenith Red/Tahoe). Received April 27th, rather than waiting for my Cosmos Silver/Mohave.(order originally confirmed Nov. 31st).

At the time I accepted the cancellation, I was told my Silver would be produced in July. I did not want to wait that long as I had previously sold my Porsche and was down to sharing one car with my wife.(not recommended).

The Red/Tahoe combination far exceeded my expectations,(accepted sight unseen). So it worked out, though I am curious to see how the Silver looks.

I would be pretty upset if I was still waiting for my Silver AGT to arrive.

do you also have high regen setting? i wonder if i would get used to high regen setting by the time i park in my garage for the first time (i'm used to releasing my brake to move my car forward).

Oh I meant the car doesn’t apply the brakes in a panic. The car does slowly stop me with a gentle release of go pedal with the regen set to high, yes.

I guess it would drain the car by keeping it in that status. That’s a new one. Anyway, car has been tested and retested and given a clean bill of health, ready to ship. Frustrating to say the least as the car could have theoretically been delivered today.

Oh well, I guess Lucid just learned another lesson. ”It’s not always the car at fault”

WOW, the basics of troubleshooting were not followed... Good to know nothing wrong with that $150K baby.

Nope, I have learned not to be "excited" when it comes to this. I will be excited when I see the trailer pull into the driveway.

Looking to get added to the list. Quantum Grey with Santa Cruz Interior. Confirmation date was January 5th, 2022. Still no VIN or delivery date.

Sounds like my “massive water leak” problem that never had a resolution, and never happened again, but probably was my seatbelt getting caught in the door and then the door trying to reopen and reshut during a massive rain storm. Freak occurrence that wasn’t the fault of the car. Lucid service spent a week trying to force the car to leak water in anywhere and it wouldn’t, and just the troubleshoot probably cost them thousands. Sounds like they’re having almost as bad luck as you haha. Sorry man but glad the car is good.

And I saw someone say the phrase “$150K” mistake. This sounds like something a click bait YouTuber would say. I’m very happy with the car, even with the occasional glitches/issues, it’s not a $150k mistake, it’s actually a $139K BEST CAR IVE OWNED.

That would be par for the course for my Lucid experience. Either that or they scrape the entire side as they back out of the trailer, at which point I know this just wasn't meant to be, tell them to load it back up, refund my money, cancel my Carvana appointment and keep my BMW.

I still have no confirmation though on when it will deliver...

Seems like you're really asking about brake hold versus creep/roll. High Regen + brake hold will stop the car and engage the mechanical brakes to keep the car stopped. Creep mode requires that you step on the brake pedal and hold it to keep the car from rolling forward. So if you are looking to simulate the ICE method of slowly moving forward as you take your foot off the brake, engage creep or roll mode rather than brake hold...until you get used to 1 pedal driving.
 
Just checked in with my DA. Last update on June 6 was "Car will enter General Assembly in next 6 weeks".

Well, next week is week 6 so I reached out.

Last we spoke in June, we were estimating your vehicle to enter general assembly in the coming weeks.

I was notified that we are no longer providing the estimates for when general assembly should take place. This is due to the inaccuracy of the previous estimates given.

At this point, I will not have a concrete update for you until the general assembly commences on your vehicle.

The vehicle is estimated to be leaving the factory in under 8 weeks once general assembly starts.

No idea when we'll get the car, but overall I think it's the right move to not give false hope.
I wish I could see where the car was in the process like some other brands...
