Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

When did you order your GT? Some folks with Touring and Pure reservations date back to 2020.

I ordered 19 July 2022; unless I am mistaken, no Touring or Pure "orders" were placed until earlier this month. Reservations may date back to 2020, but not orders.

We are in the same boat. Delivery advisor would not give me an updated estimate on delivery.

We are postponing all travel until delivery, including the holidays. I would hope to receive at least an updated timeline if production will be moved back for the Touring models.

Took delivery yesterday. Had been offered to fly to Houston and drive back but opted for local delivery. Hats off to Burhan for taking the time to walk through everything and answer all questions. Quality of walkthrough was very professional and on-par with what we've historically experienced with Mercedes. The fit and finish seemed to be demonstrably better than what others have experienced previously. Car was very clean as well. Latest software 2.0.24 already uploaded and car was very responsive to all controls, including mobile key. Delivered right to shop for PPF, ceramic, tint, as well as some other things., so will be now be waiting for that to be completed. Will post some additional pics when finished with all of that work. Sounds like the teams doing walkthroughs have been very busy lately!

Well, they missed my 5 month delivery by 2 days but ill take it! Took delivery today. Seattle Service Center staff is just the best. Cant ask for better service so far.

You will love your color combination once you get it.

I originally ordered a Cosmos Silver/Mohave, and accepted a cancellation instead of waiting(car delivered this April 29th) and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the Zenith Red/Tahoe.

Delivery Advisor must have meant it with "any day now for a VIN". Looks like they will finish up the pre-price hike orders before the end of the year.

Hi Phil, I live in Cane Ridge off I-24 near the Davidson Rutherford County Line. I ordered a Touring to add to my collection and the order was finally confirmed 11/5 and hopefully it's going into production soon. I'm still waiting on the VIN. Living in Nashville, I have never had opportunity to see a Lucid Air in person. I would love to connect if you want to show off your GT. My email is xxxxxxx@.com. Just saw this -- what do you mean that you have the roof blacked out. I'm due to get my AirGT in a couple of weeks and very concerned about the heat / glare as I live in Phoenix, AZ and my wife is very sensitive to bright lights. I was considering putting a 5% visor strip along the area where the visors are attached (and normal hard roof beam would be) and down about 8-10 inches onto the front windshield. I did that on her Tesla 3 and worked like a charm.
