Wait, you got a cosmos ? Nobody has ever see the Cosmos Silver. Proof is there are no photos, anywhere.

My car was delivered with both of these scuff pads (sill plates?) curled up. The Lucid delivery guy said he'd seen other cars that way, and that pressing them down held them in place. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Lucid is going to have to replace them.

No, I confirmed a silver but switched to white due to concerns about ‘22 deliveries of silver.
 
I got my VIN assignment Aug 26. I tried to change my interior trim from Mojave to Tahoe but Jess, my DA said that I can't because the car was almost completed in production.
Production completed on Sept 9 and will be shipped to Costa Mesa, CA. I got a call on Sept 14 that it was ready for delivery bit I had to put it off until Sep 22 at the earliest.

I ordered on Mar 21, confirmed Apr 19. It's Red, Mojave, 19" which I changed from a 21". I live in Henderson NV by the way.
 
Laurence called yesterday to tell me our car would arrive in Millbrae tonight and should be ready for pick up on Monday. I have had some goofy issues with B of A but finally worked through them and expect to take delivery early next week!

I received email from my DA yesterday asking for some information to begin the sales process for Florida.

I do not have a VIN yet but he indicated I should be receiving it soon.

Confirmed Nov 17, 2021. Cosmos silver, 21” wheels.
 
Spoke to my DA today and he said there are a lot of VINs coming out next week and expects mine to be one of them. He apologized for not getting back to me and said the last couple of weeks have been really crazy with production speeding up.

Now THAT, is a reveal! Lucid are like early days Tesla, giving their high end customers every attention. We need to enjoy the ego-massaging treatment for as long as we can. Because as soon as that Lucid-for-the-masses shows, that will all go away.

Does anybody else have Tony as their DA? Heard from him back in May about the cosmos silver delays and we opted to wait instead of switching configuration. I've emailed and called to follow up multiple times recently for any updates but he appears to be ignoring me. Family is not impressed.

What trunk liner is that and how well does it fit?
 
Today at Goose Island
Dropped off my final payment and got to chat some more with my local contact, look around and meet the Service Advisor
My count of the cars outside was 48, including at least 4 GT-P versions, one was even a white on Tahoe like mine but the VIN was different
Turns out mine had not arrived yet but is still targeted to arrive today
I was expecting to see a silver but no, mostly gray cars a few white , some black and a few red
Also many inside
My contact had not seen the car that was pelted by hail that supposedly went through Goose Island on the way to the local body shop where remediation is being figured out
There was a car from MA up on the rack for some work (the plate included the letters VEG)
My contact did confirm that windshield replacements can take a while
We discussed winter wheels and tires, at a regular dealer the parts person takes the lead, at Lucid you have to contact Customer Service in CA
I want to use Pirelli Sotto Zero 3 run flats, since those are not on the Lucid list of validated parts, I would have to order the wheels and sensors, take them to a third party shop, get the tires from TireRack and have them mounted and put on the car, then take the car back to Goose Island to have the sensors programmed into the car. This would also screw up having the second set of wheels and tires stored at Goose Island
I had some time prior to my Lyft arriving and did some close up looks at some of the cars, I found the build quality to be very good, the most inconsistent thing was how the charge port cover sat, some nice and vertical, a couple looked a tough out of alignment
I asked my contact about the Lucid pencils and he hadn't heard of them, this has been the only point I have stumped him on

Turned out to be a post update calibration issue, they resolved it in about 30 minutes, just made it back to Dallas from Houston on a single charge at *coughs* high speed 😉.

The tracker has my interior incorrect - should be Mojave.
