Next update?

Forgive my ignorance:

Not quite sure what you’re asking. When you install an update, parts of the car reboot, yes.

Here is my problem....
> I rotate between my two vehicles, my 2022 AGT and my 2023 R1S. Typically, I drive one car for 6mo and then the other. As such, when my Lucid is idle for (say) 6mo, it might receive a handful of OTAs. I can monitor it on my Lucid APP.
> after a slew of SW problems since I took delivery in Nov 2022, the Lucid seems to behave "relatively" nicely through a good part of 2024. My mobile key seemed to be working, etc., and I am currently on 2.6.11.
>I was driving my R1S from Sep 2024 to March 2025. Now, I am driving my Lucid for the past 30 days.
> my Mobile key doesn't work any more. The car won't present its door handles when I approach. Last couple of days, all of a sudden, the Lucid suddenly changed itself from "STOP" to "CREEP" when I was at a stop light, which surprised me. It now asks for my PIN. My driver seat memory seems to come and go for no apparent reason.

I am just very surprised and annoyed by what's going on.

Have other owners seen the kind of problems I am encountering?!

These sound like similar bugs to what some others have experienced.

Delete and re-setup your Mobile key.

The car won't present its door handles when I approach.
Because your mobile key doesn’t work.

It now asks for my PIN. My driver seat memory seems to come and go for no apparent reason.
This is because your mobile key doesn’t work. All of your issues boil down to: re-setup your mobile key.

It didn’t change at the stop light. It changed at the beginning of the drive, after an update. This is a setting I’ve learned to check, but it hasn’t changed after an update in many moons. Just seems it’s been a while since you’ve checked.

Yes, I agree an update shouldn’t change this setting.

I deleted and reinstall my Mobile Key twice already. I am still seeing problems.

I think the problems I am seeing have all been reported by other owners. I am just frustrated they keep reappearing.

The thing about the car changing from HOLD to CREEP was a surprise to me. I stopped at a red light and assumed the car would stay put as I had set it. Then I feel the car rolling forward into the intersection!

No, I have not changed the setting.

And it was working fine (i.e., HOLDING) until a couple of days ago. Simultaneously, it started asking me for PIN. Something was corrupted.

If your mobile key isn’t working after a reset, there is something wrong with your car. Other owners have reported intermittent issues; if yours isn’t working at all, that is a different issue and one you need service to check out.

Like I said, happened to me once many updates ago, and was reported here in the past a long time ago. Hasn’t happened in a long time.

Didn’t say you’d changed it. You said you hadn’t driven the car in 6 months, so I was suggesting an update sometime in that time may have changed it out from under you.

Perhaps. But, that's a dangerous setting to change as a default with any OTA updates! The default should be HOLD, not CREEP!

I've had good luck performing a soft reboot after OTA updates complete by holding the AIR logo in "About" on the Pilot Panel. I do this an hour later.

I also have had good luck performing this soft reboot every Sunday morning.
I find if I do not, Sirius XM tends to get glitchy for some reason, but then again, I have a bit of a prototype car.
Your results may vary.
