Seems to work for Tesla no? Elon has like 12 jobs and companies...No, not due to Trump victory. I have heard his sentiment from other investors on various forums. I didn’t think much of it back then but then started wondering if at this stage in Lucid’s growth, could they benefit from separate CTO and CEO roles versus combined role. Curious how folks familiar with startups such as yourself see the combined role and when companies typically move away from that model?
And soon to include a cabinet positionSeems to work for Tesla no? Elon has like 12 jobs and companies...
Call me conservative, but I'm of the belief that people should get jobs because they have qualifications and relevant experience rather than because they are friends with somebody. And soon to include a cabinet position
Hilarious!!!Call me conservative, but I'm of the belief that people should get jobs because they have qualifications and relevant experience rather than because they are friends with somebody.
Agree, we don’t know all the facts, but it’s important for Lucid to control the narrative and take shareholders seriously. Stock at $2…..it’s only natural for shareholders to be questioning…..imagine the situation if Gravity 100k SUV sales doesn’t pick up? That is a very very big risk for investors. It’s quite evident that there will be a big demand for a 80k SUV over a 100k model. I’m curious why take this risk. But, understand, he knows a lot of things we don’t! 25k production next year, 50k 2026….at least , otherwise whatever investors we have will move away. First air was produced 3 years ago. Need ramp sooner than later. 2025 - make or break year for Lucid. You are veering very fast into “armchair CEO” territory. Without context, it is trivial to say how a company *should* be run; there are no stakes and you can’t be wrong!
Is there a laughing and crying at the same time emoji?De Niro hates it.

Actually, you are.Are we kidding ourselves?
You talk to the guy lately or?Kamala's new pronouns...has bre we kidding ourselves?
Actually, you are.
Musk has a much bigger picture in his mind.
Lucid as a company, is a speckle, a tiny one, in his overall vision.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the day after one of the most contentious elections of our lifetime isn’t the day to find any serious meaning in the arbitrary values of various stock prices.
100% agree. I don’t really think there is much of a thought overall. Guessing he has some much bigger plans.Kamala's new pronouns...has bre we kidding ourselves?

Isn’t this like ‘ bribery “ - I pay for your campaign, you let me crush my competitors?Perhaps. But some analysts have raised the Tesla price target due to the election and the perceived ways it could give Tesla an advantage over competitors:
You do realize the Lucid Air stopped getting a $7500 credit anyway as of Jan 1, 2023, right? With Musk whispering in Trump’s ear, wondering what the implications will be on other EV manufacturers? Lost 7.5k EV credit will also affect Tesla. Would Musk jeopardize this just to troll Rivian and Lucid? He did openly say EV credits are a bad thing after he took billions for Tesla….as slimey as it is.
