I took delivery two weeks ago and have never had FOB issues except on my 3rd test drive. 25 mins waiting for car to remember its FOB. DE 313 has not had the problem. I keep the FOB in the Fob parking in the console when driving... have to jiggle it when my partner stays in car and I return to it to get it to drive mode again. When at home I store the FOB at opposite end of house ( my nightstand) to make sure car sleeps when we do. Other than that no problems so far. Occasional spurious warnings... (i hope) Nothing seems broken... had a little rattle in the center row... 3rd row folding is a bit loose and funky... ( I keep mine folded most of the time as my wife's walker rides back there.) The craziest behavior in my car is the audio system. When you leave the car and come back... the audio switches to the Overly assertive Sirius XM. Various redraw cheesy bugs but so far no stoppers in my old software testers world.
But first they need to fix the "key fix", since it ain't fixed yet...
Hmm, I think that position might actually be held by QNX. But I could be wrong.
what's in the Neuve Klasse iX3? I must confess I like it. But I'm not sure about that dash-wide "panoramic vision" projection thing, whatever it is. Though I do like they are going to less reflective, matte glass display panels.

Too funny! I am in the same boat. I did watch the Savage Geese review and agreed with most of what he had to say and review. In the end, awesome car with way more plus' and driving satisfaction that fills all the needs/boxes I have.
This people are a joke. Thumb nail says comparing Luxury 3 row Electric SUV’s and they dont want to talk on Lucid at all. Few things they mentioned were just throwing dust and skipping everything else. If you dont like it dont review it, oh sorry you need to click bait people to watch sss!!!!

I agree that on paper, the Gravity would win but as these cars stand right now (or when this review was done) the Cadillac may have a little less rear room, less range and slower charging but it is a polished, complete working product with no software issues, great Super Cruise, fobs that work etc. You also have to figure in that the Cadillac is $25,000 cheaper than the Gravity. I am getting a Gravity not for how it is today but for how I hope it will be in the next six months to year. Hopefully my choice proves wise but I am leasing just in case my optimism proves not to be well founded.

I have driven the Cadillac. It is not a 'polished, working product with no software issues.'
In my drive, I had to reboot it twice.
It's a fine car; I hate the third row, but it's a fine car.
As usual, YMMV.

Agreed. I just get a little irritated whenever a reviewer has one bad thing to say about Lucid and certain people on this site claim it is a “hit job” or the reviewers are biased against Lucid. All cars are compromises (sorry but even a Lucid is a compromise) and the companies aim for a certain market. It is not like these guys said that they disliked the Gravity but rather in the end, they liked the Cadillac a little more. That is why there are so many car choices out there, all aiming for different markets. Yeah, these reviewers either missed some key issues or for some reason, did not prioritize them as much but overall it was an OK review.
yeah, it's like the recent Consumer Reports podcast where they talked about their good & bad experience with a Gravity, I believe they purchased a different vehicle than what Lucid gave them to test for a long-term review. I'd rather hear any feedback I can in these early days. how is stating a fact they had to replace the steering wheel (button failures) part of a "hit piece" if that's what happened?
After reading the CR review, where they stated lots of glitches and picky observations (but praise too) I'd imagine many here would think they had some kind of agenda. I thought they had honest reactions to what they encountered and think that the Gravity will get better over time (IMO purchasing one means they are optimistic for the future). In my view, like the Rivian R1S, if you are asking BMW/Mercedes-Benz/Range Rover money for a vehicle, you expect a certain level of quality to be there. My Land Rover Discovery, which cost far less than the GT I ordered, has better fit & finish than the Gravity's I've been in, but JLR has been doing this a lot longer too.

I don’t understand the “like the Rivian R1S” comment. Are you saying that’s a high level of quality? Mine was/is not. My Gravity has much higher initial quality (fit and finish) than my Rivian or X - I just noted that in the JD Power survey I got in the mail. Though I should also say I don’t think JD Power’s “awards” mean anything at all.
Many have said this, but at end of the day, CR loves good old dependable cars - nothing flashy. So they love Toyotas and Hondas, etc and that’s fine. I don’t think they intentionally write “hit pieces”, though I do think they have strong preferences (like buttons over screens) that tend to tilt against the EV-only manufacturers, but whatever.
For me, personally, I don’t find any of the “old school” review folks helpful and don’t rely on them. For the Gravity, our R1S and X, I used forums and lots of online videos/experiences to inform my decision.
My guess is, if one is relying on CR, Edmunds, Motor Trend, etc, you’re in the minority of higher end EV buyers. I have zero evidence for that - it’s just been my experience with friends and forum folk who’ve spoken about how they’ve made their buying decisions.
oops, let me clarify. my comment on the R1S is around its pricing. I've driven several, 1st and 2nd gen, and they never quite feel like other $100K+ vehicles for materials and ride. One reason I've never used my Rivian reservation on one.
(and yes, I understand the Rivian pricing is for a "startup," some of the cost of it being a BEV and for R&D)

I loved my G1 R1S Quad pricing of loaded car at $86,000. That was actually a fairly good value. At $125k now for the R1S G2 Quad - no way.
And yes, they don’t feel like $100k plus cars. But neither does the X and it used to be $100k.
