Lunar Titanium Availability?

oh?..thought I read your comment post saying "what does this have to do with not getting LT" ...or something like that...my mistake! 🙄

As I said, I'm fine waiting for the 2027 model...probably have updated hardware and more mature SW as well anyhooooo
I did write that, I noticed it’s missing. Maybe the mods removed it?

There were a few personal attacks removed in this thread (and their associated replies).

Not by me, so don’t come at me. :)

Thanks for confirming. Sometimes it makes it worse when things get removed without mention that comments were removed by mods. People think you’re trying to hide/delete things.

Glad to know personal attacks and replies are deleted. C'mon, this is obviously an emotion-charged subject, but politeness should prevail. We're all better than that.

I believe the SAs were earnest about LT coming. I had one ordered too. I think it was a last minute decision by management to take what is a MASSIVE move in auto manufacturing to stop a production line. I can envision the Board finally demanding a full reset - when you put together a production line stop, a major component redo, software fixes and improvements, simplification of build complexity, a headcount reduction and a decision to phase in 2027 model year changes - these are "Get your shit together" demands from the board! Put together as a whole, this is a "make it or break it" moment for Lucid Motors and we'll see how well they execute. The timing of these changes is not lost on me, given management will have to address these issues at the March program of the "New Lucid Motors". Management could have talked about nebulous future changes at Investor Day and done all of this afterward - instead, management has to tell us why they did it and it's infinitely more difficult to put a positive spin on it. These are really tough decisions they have to explain to us.

As an owner (I leased this one in case it didn't turn out right) and a shareholder (told you I'm old and stupid!) I am cautiously hopeful they identify all the chokepoints and address them all at once - because the issue is much larger than what colors are available, or pulled, or introduced later - we are watching a company fight for its life (yes, anthropomorphism or personification). The fun feature for me is I am deeply and emotionally involved in the fight and hopeful to watch the company survive. The less fun feature is if it doesn't, I will lose allot of money on capital loss as well as experienced the opportunity cost of not having deployed the capital elsewhere.

This is really a pivotal moment - for me, I continue to "Dream Ahead." For all of our sakes, I hope I am right.

I just heard from a lucid employee that the are not going to release this color due to some kind of reflection issue with the cameras. The employee seems pretty knowledgeable, he also said he saw prototype photos of the lucid earth but couldn’t share with me, he said the dash front screens is similar to the gravity

I'm guessing the problem might have been with LT paint interfering with the radar sensors, not something related to cameras.

Which gives a level of doubt as to the knowledge of the "lucid employe"

Unless you're actually on the engineering team involved, information is going to be filtered by several layers of nontechnical people, and facts may be distorted or lost.

I think there was a childhood game like that called “telephone”. 😆

One clue is that Gravity's owner's manual says that wraps may interfere with the operation of Dream Drive Pro. It doesn't say why or how, but I imagine it could be due to covering the radar sensor areas with a metal-bearing film. More likely than causing problems by not covering the cameras with the same film.

We took an extended test drive today. Wanted to try three car seats across since we have a new addition since our last test drive. The loaded White / Platinum GGT was the one we wanted. Credit to you for being decisive. I knew it wouldn’t last long and am kicking myself now.

Guess we’ll have to wait until 2027 models or look for something else.
Wish there had been 2!

How did the three car seat experiment go? haha
Part of the reason we went with 7 seater was future proofing in case of having a third kiddo. Although we planned to put the older one one booster with a grandparent in the third row

It went well. We installed our narrow car seats (Clek Liing baby basket, Clek Foonf Harness Seat, Clek Oobr booster seat) in the Gravity and can sit three across the middle row. I found that the best setup is to put the booster behind the passenger seat so the 40% side can remain the sliding gate to the backseat as the booster is easiest to uninstall.

Also, it's helpful to have the booster behind the front passenger, so you can slide the 40 section seat forward with the booster installed to assist with buckling. There is very little space to reach in and buckle a booster if sitting three across and remaining on an equal plane. Sliding the 40 section front and back helps with that.

When Grandma visits, we plan to move the booster to the third row as well.
