Peter mentioned it in the reveal video.Where did you see that info at? I ask because I didn't see anything on the Lucid website.

The bigger question will be range when towing. I wonder how it will do vs the Silverado EV.Peter mentioned it in the reveal video.
I'm very curious about downhill braking. Would love to see TFL do a tow test. The bigger question will be range when towing. I wonder how it will do vs the Silverado EV.
Safe bet would be that range probably will be cut in half. Anything less than that would be excellent. The bigger question will be range when towing. I wonder how it will do vs the Silverado EV.
For fear of accidentally doxxing myself, I won't say, but most of you do know which town I live in.
And you would think that I go to automotive school, but in reality most of my knowledge(or rather interest) is from just standing at the stop sign at the end of my community and pointing out every single car brand/model that passed with 100% accuracy when I was 3! I saw maybe 1 tesla a year back then..
Invite to view car or reserve ?Just got invited off the waitlist . Unfortunately, impossible for me to get to LA from here . Very disappointed I will not have the chance to go to such a fantastic event.
Have fun everyone. Cannot wait to see photos.

Quick access, and Tesla’s patent. It isn’t so much that they decided not to redesign them; I guarantee they redesigned them dozens of times. It’s that they couldn’t find a design they liked that still gave you quick and easy access, because when you need a sun visor you need it *now*, and fiddling to find it is dangerous.Out of curiosity, did anyone ask why they chose not to redesign the sun visors? Or is that complaint less common than I think?
The DE will be limited; I confirmed that previously. They are still debating internally whether to number them or not, along with just about every other thing about how to sell it, lol - there is indeed a lot of planning ahead.Probably to view car. I called Lucid Sales today to inquire about when reservations would open up and was told they don't yet know. In an interview yesterday Derek Jenkins said they're still trying to decide what to do about a smaller battery pack option, so the Gravity still has a lot of planning ahead of it.
I also asked whether current owners would get a leg up on Dream Edition reservations and was told they don't know that, either, or how many Dreams will be built. In fact, the sales person with whom I spoke was not even aware that the original Dream Edition Air was a limited production run.
Am I just missing something or do we not have many of these? Or did you mean when reservations open?..by not having specs and details and asking for reservations.
When they launched the Air, they had reservations open but very little data. The complaining on *this forum* was nuts when we were getting close to Pure orders and there was still minimal data on HP, etc.Am I just missing something or do we not have many of these? Or did you mean when reservations open?

My point exactly: so does @borski state that BY the time reservations come/when they come, Lucid will try to avoid the mistake of no details? We really don't have much: just a capacity estimate for only one battery pack size, one max hp rating for the most powerful trim level, one estimate of fastest time for the fastest trim level, and the range of wheel sizes.
We still don't know how many trim levels there will be at what power and range ratings, what options are available on what trim levels, when will lower trim levels become available, etc.
The Gravity is still in prototype. @borski statement pretty much state more details will come as ordering gets near.My point exactly: so does @borski state that BY the time reservations come/when they come, Lucid will try to avoid the mistake of no details?
(and i wish we had really specific ones like no rear sunshades, etc... the air still doesnt have those)

I will say that it was clear to me that they will not repeat the same mistakes of the past, by not having specs and details and asking for reservations. They want the distance between reservation and order to be shorter this time around, and to have reservations at least have more data so they’re less likely to cancel once details come out.
But, and this is important, literally nobody knows, lol. Not even Lucid itself yet.
Yes.My point exactly: so does @borski state that BY the time reservations come/when they come, Lucid will try to avoid the mistake of no details?

Yes, I meant the motorized shades. It is one example of really specific things that don't really get a mention in the website.Do you mean in the glass canopy in the rear? Our Air has motorized shades on the rear side windows and the rear window.
There was a mention in one of the presentations that the Gravity glass canopy uses a more advanced tinting than the Air.
It’s in every trim, as far as I’m aware.Yes, I meant the motorized shades. It is one example of really specific things that don't really get a mention in the website.
No.I wonder if there is the potential for gravity to have electrochromic shading?
