Lucid gravity order begins Nov 7

Personally, I like the stealth look better than the platinum. Am debating on color, having not seen the colors in person. I do think the Aurora and Bronze look pretty good, but not sure they would go with the Tahoe interior which I currently have (but with white exterior).

I've seen an Aurora Green / Yosemite and a Lunar Titanium / Tahoe Gravity in person. I've also seen the color boards of all four Gravity interiors. I think the Tahoe would work well with any of the exterior colors. The only possible clash I found was with the Aurora Green exterior and the Ojai interior which, oddly enough, is the configuration I ordered.

It mentions Atmos on the info page.

I wonder if it’s a typo/omission on the configuration page.

This caused me to take a closer look at the info page. There is at least one other inconsistency between it and the order configurator.

The order configurator shows the 18-way power seats as "Included" in the Grand Touring instead of an upgrade option. But the info page shows the 12-way power seats as standard in the Grand Touring with the 18-way seats as an optional upgrade.

I also noticed that, while the "over 800 hp" has been changed to a firm 828 hp, the "under 3.5 seconds" acceleration time is gone with no firm figure replacing it.

These are some of the reasons I’m not ordering today. I think they have issues that need to be ironed out. I hope someone in corporate is reading.

1) Accuracy of the configuration/ordering pages and website. Clearly there are inconsistencies.

2) When will studios have Gravity to see and/or test drive.

3) Lack of official word on an Air trade-in program and how it works.

4) When is the expected date Gravity actually ships/delivered to customers?

5) Is the 6 seat configuration coming ever or is it off the table?

Yeah, my SA said wait until your current Air lease is over. I was hoping for an early lease trade-in program.
I wouldn't be surprised if they offer an early lease trade-in eventually. But for now, while they don't know what the demand will be precisely, why not let people order and wait to see if they need to provide that incentive just yet?

They may end up in a situation where they can't produce Gravity fast enough to meet demand as it is.

Sure. It’s a refundable deposit, so getting “in line” seems prudent. If those answers don’t come back to your liking (or at all) before you have to confirm / it goes into production, you haven’t lost anything.

I haven't found massage seats?
They're part of the Luxury Seating Package that comes with the premium Purluxe and leather seats.

I hope I don't get a warning for saying this...

Just because Lucid is a start-up EV doesn't mean they give away stuff for free. If you want to buy a 2nd hand car to save on depreciation, don't expect special perks.

Plenty of people complaining that the "starting" price of $94900 for Gravity GT doesn't "include" the options. Like seriously? These people complaining are the same people complaining of why the food at a $20 buffet sucks.

Again: the owner of let's say 1 year old car brings exactly the same money to the car manufacturer and/or dealer doesn't matter is that still the 1st or already 2nd owner.
Sure the 1st owner spent a lot of money, but they get some of this money back from the 2nd owner. So now the part of the money that the manufacturer got was paid by the 1st owner, but the other pars is already paid by the 2nd owner.

This is not an uncommon practice. This isn't the warranty, but free maintenance.

Dealerships give away maintenance packages if you buy a new car from them all the time. Those maintenance packages aren't transferable to anyone you sell it to. Moreover, they're usually not even transferable to another dealership.

I was just at a showroom and apparently this stuff is just going up today. I only saw four exterior color options. But it’s definit

True. ITS A WANT NOT A NECESSITY.
With gas cars you’ll need oil changes maintenance etc. with EC it’s just a yearly maintenance mostly. When somebody is waiting and buying for a depreciated value which actually is more than it should be for the quality lucid provides it should be ok to spend the extra for the yearly or ask the dealer for any plans if they have any.
And yes it’s common with other car companies too.

I was hoping for the Fathom Blue color, but I get it with the natural colors; grounded by Gravity.
And yet, the website does say "Hues that open an entire universe of possibility". Well, the universe is out there beyond the blue sky! :)

This has been covered, maybe in the orders thread. The fine print at order confirmation reaffirms that this is in fact refundable if you cancel. I don’t fault you for being confused though.

That goes to one of my points that there are many inconsistencies on this website regarding the Gravity. How do we know which is correct?

What’s in the contract supersedes all. Here is the relevant language from mine. Hopefully this gives you comfort.
