I agree with this...What I meant in my reply is that reasons for someone leaving a company are generally unique to that individual, and usually only discussed with very close friends.
And unfortunately, there is no "easy" answer to the original question...
I'm choosing to keep a positive perspective, while also keeping my eyes open.
As HC_79 said, in the corporate world there are many factors that can lead to changes in upper management... Since we don't work at LUCID, it's not likely we'll ever know the real reason(s) or contributing factors...This can range from a new CEO wanting to surround himself with team members he's familiar with, geopolitical changes affecting the EV industry, upper management wanting to move on (for whatever reason), etc.
These days, any reliance reporting from any of the "big media" news outlets or social media can be misleading due the tendency to promote "narrative" as opposed to simply "what happened". So it's difficult, at best, to tell whats going on from sources like that (and for anything lately, IMHO...)
I'm sure there are those within LUCID that don't know either. Same thing just happened at my own job (which I , thankfully, just retired from).
But my industry was semiconductor equipment, which is known for its cyclic buisiness cycles and , at times, "roller coaster like" sales forecasts...
In the end, we can never know what the root cause was, and anything posted, printed or shared from "big media" isn't much more than someone's opinion and/or speculation (this again IMHO...)
And any speculation(s) presented with "motive" is where many can be misled (especially if the motive is anything other than simply "stating" what happened...)
