Lucid executives leaving?

What I meant in my reply is that reasons for someone leaving a company are generally unique to that individual, and usually only discussed with very close friends.
I agree with this...
And unfortunately, there is no "easy" answer to the original question...
I'm choosing to keep a positive perspective, while also keeping my eyes open.

As HC_79 said, in the corporate world there are many factors that can lead to changes in upper management... Since we don't work at LUCID, it's not likely we'll ever know the real reason(s) or contributing factors...This can range from a new CEO wanting to surround himself with team members he's familiar with, geopolitical changes affecting the EV industry, upper management wanting to move on (for whatever reason), etc.
These days, any reliance reporting from any of the "big media" news outlets or social media can be misleading due the tendency to promote "narrative" as opposed to simply "what happened". So it's difficult, at best, to tell whats going on from sources like that (and for anything lately, IMHO...)

I'm sure there are those within LUCID that don't know either. Same thing just happened at my own job (which I , thankfully, just retired from).
But my industry was semiconductor equipment, which is known for its cyclic buisiness cycles and , at times, "roller coaster like" sales forecasts...
In the end, we can never know what the root cause was, and anything posted, printed or shared from "big media" isn't much more than someone's opinion and/or speculation (this again IMHO...)
And any speculation(s) presented with "motive" is where many can be misled (especially if the motive is anything other than simply "stating" what happened...)

I don't know any of the players, but it is somewhat worrying to me when several leave within a short period of time, so I thought I'd ask the question. Apparently I offended some people by asking the question for some reason. However it is an entirely reasonable question IMO.
It’s good that some of them leave, their execution wasn’t the best! Relax, why would you worry if Saudi own majority of the company? Did you check their car reviews? Nothing to worry about!

Well I was hoping for some actual feedback about why these folks are leaving. One or two people leaving is fairly normal, but I gather there have been 6+ that are out the door. Is this due to pressure from the interim CEO, or perhaps rats leaving a sinking ship? I am trying to look at this with an open mind.

I found and read the article the OP is referencing. It's pretty much click-bait in my opinion. There is only one of the listed execs who left under the new CEO...the Head of Investor Relations.

There doesn't seem to me a huge churn of execs, and it's certainly not the new CEO cleaning house. It's also balanced by the on-boarding of several new executives.

@borsky has mentioned elsewhere why links to that site are banned here, and it seems entirely appropriate to me.

It is a reasonable question...especially since many folks on the Board actually know a fair number of folks who work at Lucid. In order to be helpful, and to answer your question, sharing with us specifically who you have heard has left would enable you to potentially have a real answer as to whether those departures are meaningful or not...
Hope this helps.

For what it's worth, I had similar concerns before pulling the trigger on my "25 AGT a couple months ago. I am VERY happy with my decision (other than buying a black car. I will never do that again!) I looked at this the same way I have with every technology I was an early adopter of. Its a gamble or at the least an educated guess. It worked out great with Bitcoin, but no so much with my Microsoft Zune! I leased the car, figuring the Saudis will continue to fund it for 3 years.

This is pretty much where I am. But I tend to be thorough about things and always happy to add data points as I come across them.

Didn't they just announce like 5 new appointments of new Executives?

I think that Lucid is strong and knows what they are doing. I wouldn’t be at all worried about executive churn. New opportunities come up for people, everyone I know is holding steady and interested in continuing with Lucid. As others have said as long as the engineering team sticks together (and my sense from them) is that they absolutely will. Then I have no worries.

Buy your Lucid with confidence. The PIF isn’t going to throw money down the drain, they’ll find talent to film those positions. The Gravity and Air are amazing products.

When you get yours I’m sure you will agree.

I agree. The article was pure click bait. Most positions are finance/marketing/legal positions. None critical to product development. Rawlinson is the only key person to possibly be concerned about. Since many people have been concerned with Lucid’s software development, I am going to choose the optimistic view that maybe the couple of software guys leaving were not cutting it and replaced with more competent people. Whoops, I just started another click bait worthy rumor about staff being forced out at Lucid.
