What are Bob and Collin most excited about regarding the upcoming SSPro and Base SS features? Can you provide a peak into some of the cool things besides things already discussed here?
Response from Colin: "There are some things we can't share quite yet but keep an eye on the Gravity launch to see some of the new things we are working on. I am particularly interested in seeing what is possible with spatial audio in a vehicle and believe that we are just beginning to scratch the surface."

Regarding an equalizer, can you incorporate winamp, it really whips the llamas ass! Thanks for doing this AMA!
Response from Bob: "Interesting idea... You could connect to the car via bluetooth and use your winamp iPhone or Android app and utilize its built-in EQ. But no, I don't think there are any plans to make a native winamp player."

I'm not sure if it's been asked before or if it's a more of a software question but are there plans to introduce an audio "off" switch and can we please have Amazon Music back?
Response from Bob: "Audio off as in something like a system mute? You can pause your music and that'll result in audio being off... Not trying to be snarky - I guess maybe I don't understand your question. This isn't really my dept, but from what I understand there are gov't regulations on some of the chime sounds, like seatbelt warnings, that can't be muted, if that's what you mean. As for Amazon Music, I have no idea - that's a question for the Infotainment team."

From @DeaneG who is outside and enjoying a peaceful break from the forum:

... based on your experiences with the highly accurate reproduction test setup vs. customer feedback about what they actually want to hear.
Response from Bob: "Great question. We could spend all day talking about subjective quality vs objective accuracy. In my experience, a system that measures ruler flat on a frequency response graph is really boring and uninspiring to listen to. But when the scale is tipped too far in any direction you're going away from what most people are going to like. This is where the nuance comes in. I don't have a short, definitive answer to your question, but I will say, at my previous job my team had to come up with tunings on various consumer electronics product categories that needed final approval from cross-functional leadership, and never once did we run into a situation where we didn't get unanimous agreement with regards to how a given product should sound. Mind you, it took 9-10 months of work to achieve this level of completeness. It doesn't happen overnight. But point being, there is a level of quality that brings people's opinions together. Here at Lucid we're 100% dedicated to executing to that level."

Tried to get through all the questions just now, but am pressed for time. Forgive me if this has been answered already.

Are there plans to allow playback of hi-res lossless multi-channel files from thumb drives? Support for DSD / MKA / FLAC / ALAC in 5.1 24-bit 96kHz or greater would be amazing, with MKA supporting lossless Dolby Atmos. 🤤🥴
Response from Colin:
"USB Audio on Air currently supports audio playback with the following formats. USB-A or USB-C, must be 32GB or smaller USB drive, and must be formatted as FAT32

-Spatial audio support for Atmos encoded content in a 768kbps mp4 container

-Stereo audio can be in WAV, MP3, FLAC"

I prefer to start audio on my terms when I get into the vehicle. Right now the last station I was listening to starts playing when I enter the vehicle. How can I prevent that from happening?
Response from Colin: "Thanks for the feedback. We understand that the current behavior has significant limitations. Improving the audio playback experience on ingress/ egress is a high priority for us as we improve the overall audio experience."

Hello! Any plan to upgrade the sound scape of the car? I feel like the sounds from various notifications in the car are like Windows 98 error dialog sounds. I'd love for a more streamlined notification sound experience. In my previous cars, all notifications sounded like airplane chimes which gave it a futuristic and calm sound. I'd love lucid to follow this direction (maybe taking a cue from shinkansen train chimes for example), and spacialize in Atmos all notifications :)
Response from Colin: "We are in the process of improving the chime sounds and behavior in Gravity with the goal of bringing the improvements back to Air"

What audio tracks does your team use when calibrating the system, either with Atmos or without?
Response from Colin:
"Some Tracks that we have really enjoyed listening to recently are below.
• Ocean Eyes – Billie Eilish (Atmos)
• Take on Me - a-ha (Atmos)
• Fortnight (feat Post Malone) - Taylor Swift (stereo)
• Old 45's – Chromeo (stereo)
• Marjoram - Bert Kaempfert (stereo)
• Lightenup – Parcels (stereo)
• Chitlins con Carne - Stevie Ray Vaughan (stereo)"
