Just got your Air? Common questions answered!

Something I found out today by mistake. I set the car to maintain temperature in pet mode while going to the store for a minute. When I returned to the car to get something from the trunk I entered thru the passenger door to push the button on the pilot panel to open the trunk. It wouldn't function. In fact ,none of the car's functions worked- The upshot -if you enter thru a door other than the driver's door the car will not leave pet mode. That means none of the car functions, other than maintaining temperature, will work until you open the driver's door. Save yourself a few minutes & don't act as silly & confused as I did today. 😁
Just to confirm: this is correct. It explained it in the release notes, but I agree it isn’t totally clear.

Got my Lucid early in the month but the window sticker was missing. Is there any admin over here who can help me get the sticker?

This forum is not associated with Lucid. Your best bet is to call your sales advisor or delivery advisor.

Did you check the glovebox? That's where mine was.

If not, as suggested, contact Lucid directly. This forum is not run by Lucid.

Maybe dumb question - if it's in there I missed it in the manual.

When you are done driving, is there a way to turn off the car? Most cars (for good reason) stop the audio/etc when you open the door. This one un-kindly waits until you close the door. It's kind of annoying to manually stop and start your music each time you exit/enter because of this.

The other one - for people's main screen, if you tuck it away, when you deploy it back out, does it "knock" into the bottom center console kind of hard? Not sure if this is normal or it needs some sort of calibration/adjustment. It smacks it pretty good.

There is no on/off switch on the Lucid. Click the right steering wheel rocker button before you get out. You get used to it.

I will never understand the desire for an on/off switch. It’s just as much work to turn off the music, and ten times more annoying when you get back into the car and wonder why the air isn’t coming on yet until you remember to press a button.

The problem being that then it also doesn't turn back on when you get in. So your second statement is somewhat ironic to the first.

The on/off switch (Taycan) you can press before getting out to shut it down, but it still automatically starts as normal when you get back in. Though the Taycan also stops audio when you open the door rather than when you close it, so it's more just for lighting/etc if you want that all off.

So it's 1 button press in and out vs 1 button press in and out?

You don't press anything when you get in. You can optionally press it before you get out (or if you are staying in your car for a period) to turn off lighting/etc early.
