I have been experimenting with using voice commands and documenting the valid syntax. Thus far I have discovered:

1 - It will not work on driving items, like "put Regen into low."
2 - It works well for temperature and blower settings.
3 - When I asked it to retract mirrors it replied "use controls in door". But there is nothing pertinet there.
4 - Pushing the Mic button on the steering wheel takes me a useless Add User screen on the lower LCD panel.
5 - It is very sensitive to syntax on the Sriius Ap.

I wish I had a lst of what "Hey Lucid" will do and the syntax for speaking to it to do my wanted tasks. I know that its new, but I sense it will be very useful for me.

Thanks

I'd like this too. I tried to use it to turn off the heated steering wheel, and the response was "do it yourself on the pilot panel" or words to that effect.

Cheeky little bugger...
I want the list of words that play on the radio that make HAL stop and listen...which sound nothing like "Hey Lucid".😁

Here is what I need:

Hey Lucid Headquarters- Since this will change often as you update the UI, you should post it as an online document.

As my wife quoted Ricky Ricardo: "Hey Loosey"

Seriously, this should be a 1 day job for whoever designed the UI.

1- Can some Lucid employee on this blog please get us the list of valid commands, or..

2 - We as a group should contribute our findings as to what works and what doesent... or

3 - I doubt that Lucid developed the main part of its voice recognition system and hardware. The likey bought/licensed/adapted it from some third party. Does anyone know the name of that Co. so we can get some of the command list from them.

Thanks

I am supportive of #2. It is great if Lucid can do #1 but with #2, we are in control and we can crowdsource this. Also, with generative AI type systems in the backend, this will continue to evolve and get better. I think we should start a list and contribute.

Even if it were third party based, Lucid would still need to implement individual commands one by one.

I agree, it would be nice to have a properly maintained list of current commands. I wouldn't hold my breath on that coming from Lucid directly, though.

If the UI was intuitive we wouldn’t have to feel like idiots unfortunately.

So we are beta testers😑. We should give them a list of dead wrong answers as well. As a new owner having a difficult time navigating the controls, I was hoping Lucid Assistant would help. It will give me different answers even if I phrase it exactly the same immediately after the last incorrect answer. You would think the LLM would have source material from the manual. For instance when I asked where the controls were for seat heating it told me it was under the seating controls instead of the climate control / fan icon.

The UX *is* intuitive; but it is far from perfect. In general, it’s easy to find your way around and things are becoming more discoverable all the time.

But it definitely isn’t perfect.

For this particular feature, it is a v0. Not beta, but brand new; it will absolutely be updated heavily over time.

This is an unfortunate limitation of LLMs in general, for now; lots of ways to mitigate this, but again, it is a brand new feature. For what it’s worth, Alexa was the prior iteration and did not know *anything* about the car or how to interact with it, nor did it have access to the manual.

It does. It’s just not great at it for now. But it does source from the manual, the knowledge base, etc.
