We all know by now that 2025 was a "mid-cycle" refresh of sorts for Air, at least for the GT and I believe Touring and Pure as well. We got a number of refined and / or new systems within the cars (heat pumps, improved thermal management, changes to battery management, etc.) to improve overall efficiency. We also know that in 2024 the EPA changed its test cycle standards. This combination of events makes it difficult to tell the "steady state" change in efficiency between the 2024 (and earlier years) and 2025 model years. Has anyone come across a specific, quantified difference?

One data point that suggests improvement is the OOS 70 mph test - they met EPA range at 70 mph.

Here is OOS's list showing the difference between the 2022 and 2025 AGTs. I am not aware of any aerodynamic improvements, so the efficiency gains may only be related to the improvements you listed. Probably.

This is positive news for future Gravity owners, I think.

Can any of the 2025 GT efficiency improvements be retrofitted into the older AGTs? I presume retrofitting hardware (e.g., heat-pump) might be difficult, but what about battery optimizations and management?

Very unlikely. Even if possible, it would be better/cheaper just to buy a new 2025 Air. IMO.

I don’t have a link handy, but Peter has repeatedly stated in interviews during the announcement of the 5.0 efficiency that some of the motor management enhancements that aid in efficiency will be cascaded into older airs as well.

Correct, some of the improvements are software related.
