Closed the App, cycled power on my phone and now the App and the car both say that I am at 3.5.7. I wonder if the apparent stall at 93% in the App was because I started charging before installing the update.
My FOB worked great after the update, but my experience has been that it will work great on one day, then the next have problems. Mine was having problems earlier today but the improvement could be just the randomness of the problem and have nothing to do with the update. As others said, this is just in preparation for a big update and didn't really include any functional changes so I'm assuming that I'm just experiencing randomness.

Mine updated yesterday night just fine. 20 mins or so.

I updated to 3.5.7 yesterday so I decided to check the fob screen on the app. I've attached it. Does this mean my fob needs to be updated or it always says this. I updated my fob once but forget if it says I'm otherwise up to date after it was done.

Mine showed the same for the fob after software update. It wasn't there before the update was pushed.

I just heard from Emad Dlala.

He confirmed that the May update was part of a bigger update coming later, probably in Fall.

He then said the "coming soon update" focuses on reliability and quality but would include "some" good features. I'm not sure whether this meant the Fall update or something else coming in the interim.

My guess is this is about all that can be known at this point, as I'm pretty sure that what ultimately ends up in any update is, in part, a function of what gets completed and tested when. I'm sure they work to a roadmap, but bits and pieces probably get added or removed as work proceeds.

What is clear is that Lucid is still in "all hands on deck" mode on the software front . . . and that Lucid is collecting owner feedback and taking it into account.

So this could be it? The update Nick talked about just a week ago? The one that would have some really good features? Even the Lucid software engineer that’s on here said good stuff was inbound, but in the fall? Alrighty then…

I specifically remember someone from Lucid (I believe Nick Twork) that a significant update was coming end of May to include Highway Hands Free DDP, Google places integration with Nav, matrix headlight, and some others. Notably said that PAAK would not be coming with this one.

Since updating, 3x in a row now that the car failed to unlock when I walked up to it. I’ve already reset the car via the steering wheel buttons too and replaced the key fob battery.

Just completed the first leg of our road trip on v3.5.7, (roughly 430 miles) , nothing serious worth noting , but noticed the yellow warning triangle on the Clearview cockpit after DCFC session (Ionna rechargery in Valdosta, GA). At that point we already merged back on the interstate and I mentally dismissed it, as it's probably ( and hopefully) false sensor detection of some sorts. So, old behavior is still there...
Keyfobs are opening and autolocking reliably for me, for now, though occasionally noticing slight delay.

Emad Dlala just said an extensive update is imminent -- already being rolled out to Dream Editions with broader rollout soon to follow.

(Neither of our Dreams has yet received it, but we're usually not at the front of the line for updates.)

noticed the yellow warning triangle on the Clearview cockpit after DCFC session

This could be a sign of the coolant valve error some of us have encountered. I got it after my only 400kW Ionna charge. My mobile tech was able to see the coolant valve error code in the log files. I'm scheduled this month to take it to the service center for a coolant flush and valve repair. The other error we saw intermittently was "Drive System Warning - Schedule Service". The car remains driveable, but the coolant is not working according to spec.

Yes, it was a follow up conversation. The update, which will be 3.6.0, is already rolling out to a group of owners who give early feedback on updates. Once the feedback is digested, the broader rollout will soon follow.

The percentage complete number is a fiction. It's just there to let you know that something has happened and is still happening.
Lucid could probably improve the accuracy of the displayed percentage complete number, but their time is better spent on developing car software.

Yup. Almost all update progress meters are complete lies, just designed to reassure the viewer that something is happening. This is because it's actually shockingly hard to build an accurate progress meter, so very few software teams bother.

Can confirm. I have built many progress bars, and all of them have been BS.

The one time I tried building an accurate one I eventually gave up and made it BS. Nobody ever cared.

I used to joke that I was going to make an app for IT people to time how much of their lives were spent watching progress bars fill but it was too depressing to have actual metrics for.
Now I know who to blame!
