Gravity V3.5.7

Some hints might come from slide 33 of the investor day presentation (though Lucid just lists everything as coming in 2026 so this update may not include all items):

• Hands-Free Highway Driving
• Lucid AI Assistant
• V2H Energy Back-up
• Smart Home Charging
• Enhanced Auto Park In/Out
• Video Streaming
• Adaptive Driving Beam
• Hands-Free Highway and City Driving
• Digital Key
Digital key is already there, right?
What does smart home charging - beyond what is already available?
Will the reverse camera at night give an image?
I somehow doubt v2h.
Probably a lot of Adas features as those were delayed due to softwareageddon.

No, Remote Start is here not Digital Key - that's slated for end of summer/fall big update.

Nothing I care about too much in this update I just like enjoying the excitement with everyone and pray for @hmp10's cars to have significant improvements (and all the other more unfortunate owners) so praying for you all

I think we're all praying for @hmp10 and his Gravity(s). If all works out well for him, it'll work out well for us too.

That's a disappointing list for my tastes. No interest in hands-free anything, AI assistant, V2H, changes to home charging, or video streaming.

Auto park maybe but probably won't use it.

Adaptive driving beam is nice.

The only biggie is digital key IF that means PAAK to finally have a solution to the slow fob.

Got to read the notes of the new update. Can’t say what’s in it, but very welcoming update. I think owners will be happy.
So you're one of the lucky ones who got the update 5.6 already?can you proof it 😅

I had my first fob not detected since the first day I got the car. Happened in a valet parking garage and had to go back to the car with my phone and card key so they can move the car. After a reboot, the fob was still not detected. The fob started to work eventually but I still left them with the card key instead. Hope this isn't more to come 🤞

Mine always eventually works. 2/3rds of the time I have to just stand there at the door like an idiot for 5-20 seconds though.

7 seconds has become the most common. I actually count off the seconds every time now to test it.

PAAK can't come soon enough.

I don't suppose the coming Lucid AI Assistant will act on "Hey Lucid, get the door unlocked 3 seconds before I get to the driver door with the fob, not 7 seconds after, please". 😄

I've never experienced a fob unlocking delay.

I'll believe it when I see it regarding V2H and changes to home charging. I had a Lucid Air GTP and loved it, but I sold it because insurance was $350 a month. So I'm going to wait until that probably comes out to purchase a Lucid Gravity DE. It's never going to happen because they've been saying this since 2022.

A used Gravity Dream? Should be a great value by then.

Several auto manufacturers have production or pilot-level V2H programs going, and several more (including Lucid) have publicly stated that they are close. It's an emerging technology with new regulations, hardware and software. I share your frustration with the gap between Lucid's V2H statements and their reality. But I expect the capability will come to Lucid vehicles within a year or so, one way or another - whether through Lucid's V2H solution or products from third party home energy system suppliers like dcBel, SigEnergy, Enphase, Wallbox, etc.

I've never experienced a fob unlocking delay.

Even with the car sitting in the same spot in the garage, our locking/unlocking experience is all over the lot. Sometimes the car unlocks just as I open the door to the garage. Sometimes it unlocks only when I'm right up on the car. Sometimes I stand at the car for 5, 10, 20 seconds (22 seconds is the longest I've timed) before it unlocks. Sometimes it doesn't unlock until I use the key card. And we've even had a couple of episodes where every door unlocks except the driver door.

The most reliable way to unlock the car has been with the mobile app, but that's its own kind of aggravation.

The situation improved somewhat in our newer Gravity since the 3.5.7 update, but it's still a bit hit and miss, especially in terms of distance to the car before the doors unlock. We just got the older car back this morning from another two weeks at a Service Center, so we'll see how it behaves over the next few days.

Rainy season is now upon us, and I'm praying that the next update resolves this once and for all.

I think the door unlocking has improved dramatically in the past few months. I did get a fob replacement that completely fixed this for our Gravity GT. It was pretty great going into 3.5.7, and now, that update seems to have made the autolock and unlock even more responsive.

In the past, for me, I observed the delay in the unlock was due to a delay in the car waking up from sleep. I could hear the car waking up slowly and then the door would unlock. Now, that seems to be happening much faster, or perhaps the unlock is somehow independent of waking up now?

“prove” is the word you want

It was stated earlier in this thread that Lucid has early testers under NDA
Ups sorry yes :D mistake

So I just received my gravity touring demo drive for the next three days. However, i do have an issue with the software.
it is only 3.5.1, how can I get 3.5.7 or better even 3.6.0 ?
i asked the sale rep but he did not know.
the car in the show room which he showed me was also just a gravity touring on 3.5.1 however update availble with 3.5.7 was announced/ready to be installed.

Can i "Push" something or no chance?

May not be available outside of North America

that cannot be the case because the other Gravity Touring in the showroom had the "update to 3.5.7 available" info

Not sure , maybe @marqie could assist if you could provide VIN of that demo vehicle?

I did already sent marqie the VIN via private message. However marqie stated that demo cars have usually their own update cycles etc.
However, maybe not to 3.6 but maybe first 3.5.7 :D
Hi, @Lycra.

Unfortunately, I am not able to assist with this. Demo cars have their own release schedule.

Marqie
