Gravity Service Appointments and Time In Service

yeah works like once and then again 2-3 tries to open. the service guy on my mobile visit said it needs a full adjustment, whatever that means.
I don't know what they did, however proactively adjusted it while my car was in service and it opens and closes perfectly, with the sound of a quality bank vault. All without my asking. Coldwater MI service center rocks!!

wanted to get my frunkt finally adjusted properly so it opens correctly. I thought this would be a quick service and I can wait for the car but they told me, they would keep the car for 2-3 weeks, told them thats not acceptable and canceled the appointment. so now I just wait until it completely fails and then they can repair it, cant imagine this is good for the mechanism that it always tries to open 2-3 times but I also dont care anymore. This is for Beverly Hills service center, they said any service is at least 2 weeks. Like I dont get it? why take the car in and have it sit there for 2 weeks for something which might take couple of minutes to fix. I understand if they need new parts, but sorry then give me my car back until the parts arrived ..
Insane isn’t it? My car is sitting outside since last Monday, 16 Feb and still hasn’t been seen yet. The car has a matte wrap on it too.

The frunk can be adjusted from inside the wheel well. They had to adjust mine before due to a fitment issue.

I'm sure they don't really want to keep it sitting in their lot for 2-3 weeks. It's likely that it's just due to their internal processes being incapable of the logistics planning for parts availability and mechanic hours needed. I'd hope someone is actively working to fix that.

My car has been in service for two weeks and they haven’t even looked at it from what I can tell. It needs an entire roof replacement (again) this could drag on for weeks and weeks.

I try to be patient but this is ridiculous. I can’t even finish the buyback process until service is done on it even tho it’s way past lemon territory.

What a true disappointment.

My first trip for HVAC repair they installed a defective button panel and just left it. Had to be replaced, but 2 of the 3 replacements they ordered were defective too. Then the new roof (because they broke the first one in service) also arrived with defective weather stripping and could not be installed. So they had to order yet another roof. Two months later, that roof starts to come apart and it’s back in service.

Something is fundamentally broken in Lucid and I don’t know what it is, but I’m tired of being a part of it.

Still can't get anyone at the San Diego Service Center to call me back, their phones just go to voicemail. I've also spoken to Customer Care and had correspondence with Marqie who forwarded my info to them again to get in touch with me but still nothing.

Not answering phones or calling people back in nearly a week is not acceptable, especially when corporate has gotten involved. I thought the sales process was opaque and a bit of a mess but this service center is just useless at this point honestly.

Just had someone ask me about the Gravity in a parking lot yesterday too as he was interested in one, I told him the car is amazing but the company has a lot of problems.

I maintain they are overwhelmed and understaffed. I love my SC here, they communicate wel, but everything takes absolutely forever. They did tell me they have a "new system" again that has messed up some communications.

I can understand that they're busy but not calling back in almost a week is bordering on incompetent, especially as corporate has even asked them to call me at this point and they're apparently even ignoring them.

From my perspective, I ran my own cybersecurity and IT support company for almost 20 years before retiring and there is no way I would have let our customer service be this bad.

oh I agree, their service structure is broken.

Oh hey, I’ll be joining the official 14 days in queue on Monday 🤣

That's why I keep saying they need to restore electronic communication through the app or portal, there has to be a way to leave some trail of all of this.

They were gonna check on it for me today, haven't heard anything yet.

There's basically no amount of money you could pay me to work for Lucid Service right now.

When this is all done I am already in the Buyback queue as well.

Finally got a text from someone earlier this afternoon after my last post here. Taking the Gravity in on Monday.

I'm on my second Drive System Warning (orange) message. The first message with less than 1000 miles, I was told to tow it in to service. Then I had to wait 2 weeks before it was looked at and repaired. Two weeks later, the warning message reappeared. Brought it back to service and now in the process of waiting the minimum 2-3 weeks again.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I just sent you a DM.
Yes, I have been waiting to get my Gravity into the Tyson’s Corner Service center since November. Finally got the manager Ron to call me. He said he would call me back on the 17th to get my Gravity into service by the end of February. No call back. The vehicle has several mechanical and software issues, some of which were mentioned and well documented the day I took delivery. Very frustrating not to be able to get ANYONE to call back or respond.
