Gravity Orders Discussion

Agree it's steep in absolute terms, but unfortunately feels relatively on par with the "luxury" market - AR HUD for Mercedes EQS is a $2,000 option. So you're left with $1,200 for sockets and lighting - ~$600 per basic option, which is what most manufacturers charge now... In Porsche world, these are $10k option each :D

I generally share the sentiment that at least the "Grand Touring" trim should come with more standard stuff, but willing to forgive Lucid as a newish manufacturer with a new model at launch. Hopefully, once enthusiasts and Saudis sponsor them through the breakeven point, they'll stop this crap.
My Air Touring with DDP, SSP, Glass roof and 20inch wheels costed me 113k. Now, you can get a Gravity GT, with 200hp more, HUD, air suspension, 440 mile range ( 60 miles more than my Air Touring), rear wheel steer, more space, 7 seats, OLED screens, updated hardware- for 123k- ONLY 10K MORE!

There is nothing crappy about this price. It's just a perception, its a very good price for a 800hp superperformance SUV!

I know many so called influencers on social media have cited dissatisfaction with the pricing but they are clueless and ignorant.

I think Lucid did a great job on the pricing, hope ramp goes well and Touring comes out sooner than later. After that, I'm sure they will have a single motor or Atlas motor pure. Perhaps Lucid Air Pure will go Atlas as well eventually and leave the Touring and GT with the more powerful motor.

i got the Air GT when they had a single price and it made my life easy. showing options just confuses some of us. maybe one of the reasons why i like shopping at Costco where they don't have a lot of options for each thing.

i don't have a pony in this race but when they come out with the midsize SUV, i hope they show a package that's max spec'd GT (priced accordingly).

Has anyone received a call yet after the online order?

They're apparently doing things a bit differently from the Airs. Even though I had visited Lucid showrooms in both Miami and West Palm Beach -- as I know you have -- and registered my interest at each before Air orders opened, the delivery advisor I was eventually assigned was at Lucid sales headquarters.

For my Gravity order, I have been assigned an advisor out of the Miami Brickell studio. I've visited the West Palm Beach showroom more often in the past four years, and I've also visited the Miami Worldcenter showroom, both of which had registered my name as interested in a Gravity. Moreover, the Worldcenter location is more heavily staffed than Brickell and also has a Service Center, which is where I'm pretty sure our Gravity will be sent for delivery prep. So I'm unclear as to how Lucid makes these delivery advisor assignments for the Gravity.

It's not a big deal, as I'm guessing the Gravity will be delivered to our home in any case.

Same here. I suspect because you and I were both early on the Air train we had HQ sales advisors; I know they eventually switched to studios. My gravity sales advisor is here at Valley Fair.

Gravity will replace my Audi Q7. 😊

So am I the first Quantum Grey? That means mine will be first off the line, or last. But seriously, I was really looking for a blue exterior, none of these colors really impressed me online (maybe in person).
The females in my household nixed all the other colors, so ours will be Quantum Gray.

Actually, that is not true. It has only heated 2nd row seats and nothing in the third row. This, along with the poor legroom, disqualified it from our consideration.
I thought most of the EV makers determined it was actually more energy efficient to use heated seats vs HVAC for initial passenger comfort?

I was assigned a sales associate out of Century City, but have heard nothing from her.
Similar, I was assigned a sales rep from Newport Beach, but no correspondence from him...

But many complained their wasn't a way to pick the options you want when buying the Air. Many hated that Touring came with everything added on initially. Thats why Lucid changed strategy this time. This is better. If you don't want something, don't order it.

I got the same SA out of HQ who helped me with my Air in July.

I have also not heard anything from anyone other than the generic corporate email. I am not too worried since I doubt the sales associates could tell me much that we don't already know.

My build is 125k, I'll be replacing a Honda Pilot and a BMW X6. I'm keeping the Air
