Gravity ordered Tysons

The absolute best way for people think you have zero credibility and write you off as a fool is to begin your post with “I asked ai…”

Like any reasonable person, I stopped reading there.
Yes, I'm sure that you think that it is much better to just take the word of someone random that says something without any references rather than use a referenced source. Maybe you should not stop reading when you read that, especially when it is prefaced by saying WHY I was using AI to provide the answer. There's actually good information there if you were to bother reading it.

Not reading any of that, but good for you.

Read up about moment arms and how weight at a distance from a fulcrum is multiplied by distance. It's all spelled out in those "other posts" you talk about.

Once you understand the physics, you will see that having a lower accessory weight does not diminish the ability to tow a trailer.

(And as a side note, I hope you realize that typing in all caps is considered shouting in Internet etiquette.)

Here is how a low vertical tow load capacity can affect towing:
  • Reduced towing capacity: The vertical tow load, or tongue weight, is typically 10–15% of the total trailer weight. A low tongue weight rating means that even if your vehicle has a high maximum towing capacity, you cannot tow a trailer that is heavy enough to exceed your vertical load limit.
    • For example, if a vehicle has a 7,000-pound maximum towing capacity but only a 500-pound vertical load capacity, the heaviest trailer you can safely tow is 5,000 pounds (500 is 10% of 5,000), not 7,000 pounds.
  • Decreased stability: Driving with insufficient tongue weight can cause the trailer to sway or "fishtail". This makes the vehicle difficult to control and increases the risk of an accident.
  • Poor handling: A tongue weight that is too low can lift the front of the tow vehicle, reducing steering and braking effectiveness. In contrast, too much tongue weight will overload the rear suspension and tires, also affecting handling.
  • Risk of damage to equipment: Exceeding your maximum vertical load can damage the hitch, the vehicle's frame, or the rear suspension.
How to avoid issues with vertical tow load
  • Balance the trailer load: The most effective way to manage vertical tow load is by properly loading the trailer. Heavier cargo should be placed over or slightly forward of the trailer's axle to increase tongue weight, while moving it backward will decrease it.
  • Use a weight distribution hitch: For heavier loads, a weight distribution hitch can be used to evenly distribute the tongue weight across all axles of the tow vehicle and trailer. This improves stability and handling but does not increase the manufacturer's maximum vertical load rating.
  • Consult your manuals: Always check your vehicle's owner's manual and the tow hitch's specifications for both the maximum vertical load (tongue weight) and the total towing capacity. You must not exceed the lowest rating of either your vehicle or your hitch

Ugh. Why all the shouting and vomiting LLM answers? Believe the people here who know what they're talking about, or don't. But don't yell and be an LLM parrot please.
