Hey please note these are one off codes only. If you order something and pay for the shipping you can't go back another day and order something else. So when ordering try and use the whole $500 in one go. ( I made that mistake by not reading the small print and my code was invalid the next day)

does anyone know what paperwork would need to be signed in California? just a letter of approval from financial services?

My SA said to just fill out the form (REG 17 here) and the state should give the plates. That at the DMV/AAA delivery, checking registration with both leasing company and my name on there is enough.

I'll check with financial services first I guess and see if they say anything.

I live in Florida and had a GGT on order for nearly a year. During an October family visit to Virginia I discovered a GT on Lucid's available vehicles list which matched closely to what I had ordered and decided to grab it. I contacted my SA to make the order change; cancelling my original order and swapping to the King of Prussia PA delivery center. Things went fairly well. Lucid provided a 30 temporary registration and explained when I transferred my current Lucid Air plate to the Gravity, I will need to request a refund from the FL DMV. Sigh .. We drove the Gravity back to Florida.

A month later, with the FL Temporary registration expiring in 5 days, I emailed my SA; no response. I called her; no answer and no reply to my voicemail.

I contacted Customer Care who called the KoP East Coast Registration guy, and he did finally call me back. He said the registration was done incorrectly, however could would fix it (change to a plate transfer) .. But, I'm still out the ~$300 for the NEW, and unnecessary registration. He explained Lucid would request the refund from the State and pay me back.

Now, another month has gone by. Emailing both my SA and KofP Sales associate went nowhere .. so again, I'm back to contacting customer care. However, either they are now ignoring the situation, or the SA and Registration guy are.

This registration drama has been a very frustrating, inconvenient and totally unnecessary. my phone calls just go to VM. It really infuriates me that none of it seems important enough to get resolved .. whereas having the wire transfer clear for the purchase was at the top of the list.

I finally received a check from Lucid refunding for the unnecessary Vehicle Registration .. Almost 4 months after delivery. My emails have been ignored, but in a recent survey I explained the snafu that occurred at delivery, that might have got some attenetion. Case Closed :)
 
Hello everyone, does anyone know when Lucid will resume Gravity deliveries? All new deliveries are currently on hold due to an issue with the rear seats and they are waiting on the replacement component.

I'm surprised they haven't started these back up yet. Hasn't it been almost two weeks since they paused?

This is one of those “good delays”…. We don’t want to hurry delivery of non-conforming cars…

Yes, it could be. I ordered my Gravity on February 16th. My SA has been MIA, and the last thing I was told by the delivery team is that new deliveries have been halted until the replacement part arrives. However, no one seems to know whether this part actually exists or when it will arrive

Later he also said:
"Rep told me this was the first they delivered this month. 2nd row issue was addressed in factory. Others built prior to mine are still awaiting parts for fix, allegedly."
 
Whichever one of you is in the Poconos you were the first Gravity we have seen in the wild that wasn’t ours!
