Every time I see that car all I hear in my head is the distorted voice saying “PlayStation”Went and did an "in car demo" of the Sony Honda Afeela 1 prototype this afternoon. Can't say I was impressed and just makes me want to get my Gravity even more.
Their biggest selling points seem to be that there's a Crunchyroll app and that you can play PS5 remotely on the screen. Yay? Otherwise it's just built on Android Automotive like everything else these days. They also tried to tell me it was the first car that'll have Dolby Atmos which, well, just isn't true.
Congrats!!!Apparently my GGT arrived in Roswell on schedule today, as my Dashboard has updated to Preparing for Delivery.

HahahahahThey were very excited until I told them I'm a PC gamer and don't play on consoles. I am amused by the little screen on the front of the car between the headlights you can customize with text. I asked if there was a profanity filter but they didn't seem to find that funny.
Hahahahah
Quick question: what does “planned broadcast date” signify?Interesting. Mine is sort of the reverse situation where my May 26th order was Order Confirmed, then went to In Production on Saturday when I matched an inventory car, and then back to Order Confirmed today for no apparent reason.
This is what my SA had to say about it:
“The car VIN went into being a batch number but also has started production at the same time.
The "Planned Broadcast Date" has been populated and we are looking at 10/31/2025, so the "Actual Gate Date" is going to be 2 - 4 weeks from 10/31 according to the notes.”
…which doesn’t really make sense to me unless the gate date is somehow 2-3 months from the start of production? It’s almost like I got swapped back to (what I had guesstimated would be) my original order timeline or something.
According to my SA it’s when production will be complete, but others have mentioned it more in the context of production starting so I’m not really sure at this point.Quick question: what does “planned broadcast date” signify?
This is what I was told and with the dashboard changing to in production on the same date and the car faring a couple of weeks later sounds reasonable to me.I was told "broadcast date" is when it enters production.
This was the case for me. On the Broadcast Date I received a canned email from my SA stating my car had entered production. In my case it was a Friday then the portal switched to In Prod with the VIN number the following Thursday. This is what I was told and with the dashboard changing to in production on the same date and the car faring a couple of weeks later sounds reasonable to me.
