Gravity Delivery Discussion

question for those of you who have been farther into the delivery process than I have:

Now that my online portal shows "in production" status, I can click on "Owners Manual and Software Updates" and I see my VIN. Underneath that, where I think I should get something like an owners manual and information on my current software version, I see:

"An unexpected error has occurred.
Error: Request failed:
Try reloading the page to view the latest version specific to your VIN.
Alternatively, you can view the Owner’s Manual PDF.
The PDF may be an earlier version and may not be up to date with the latest changes."

I am assuming this is crapping out because my car hasn't actually been built yet. Does this jibe with what others have experienced? If this starts to show me something real, I presume I can infer that the car will have at least rolled off the line and been booted up?
Mine is getting delivered on Wednesday. I have the same thing going on on my dashboard.

I received that error message until after actual delivery.

Same for me. I thought maybe it’s because I was viewing that page on an iPad.

Got a very rare call from my sales advisor. FWIW, he said orders placed today will deliver by end of year including HUD, tech package, and hitch which is the configuration I'm interested in. I do not have an order in yet.

I'm assuming they are still behind the demand curve playing catch-up. And that will probably will continue into 2026.

Our car has had 3.2.2 -- the current software version -- since the second week after delivery. The bizarre software behavior (such as frozen images from 15 minutes earlier showing up in the supposedly real-time blind spot display) has occurred with the current software the even the most recent deliveries are running.
Possibly because, as I have described previously, most of your issues aren’t software-related, but hardware-related. You’re just seeing the symptoms in software, but for example, your maps/nav, wrong GPS location, etc., are all symptoms of a single root cause: your TCU needs replacement.

It is entirely possible new deliveries that don’t have those hardware issues also, and thus the software seems to work better

It turns out the nav/GPS system problems did reside in the software. I'll shortly put up a post about the repairs done during this service visit on the Bugs/Issues thread.

Anyone have Sina as their advisor? Are they pretty responsive to changes in status?
So ... um ... another quick update. Sina is no longer with Lucid. I just got a call from his replacement.

I have no idea why he is no longer there, but based on what the new salesperson told me about the status of my vehicle, I would have to say that there were some things that could have been improved in terms of his communication with me.

Specifically, I learned today that the car is built, left the factory, and in transit to Roswell, GA, where it will undergo inspection before being delivered to me at my home in SC. It should arrive in Roswell on Sep 8. This was ENTIRELY news to me -- and indeed, the dashboard still says "in production" and there is no information - just an error message -- under the Owner's Manual and Software Updates section. I didn't get any indication from Sina, even though we were communicating via email after the car left the factory on Sep 4, that it was en route.

So, long story short - I think I'm revising my opinion of Sina's performance as my SA.

My SA called this afternoon to offer me an exact match to my actual order (placed May 26 and not yet in production) that someone else had cancelled and now my car is in production with a VIN. So thanks to anyone here who canceled a green GGT recently ;)
What configuration, if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, seems like mine has now been reassigned to Michael Ma. Hopefully this is a good sign.

Has anyone received the Lucid Gravity speed form model yet? I received the email from Mr Winterhoff on Aug 13 saying that they would send it to me in the mail. Not that I really want it, just curious.
Got the gift last week….

I had him. He a generic one you get if you order online. He doesn't work at a store. I found him to be nice but not very communicative. I switched to an SA from the store in Tysons Corner after a while.

@dws3665 .. i also live in SC. If possible, may I travel to see your GGT or could we meet at a neutral spot? Please pm me at [email protected]. Thanks!@

Makes me still wonder if I should get range x change. I don’t need it but feel like I have to buy Gravity accessories.
I had it with the Air, never used it. It’s a great idea but not something that would be used too often I feel. It seems to be more “hey, look what my car can do” at the moment.
