Gravity Delivery Discussion

I dealt with something similar. I explained to my SA specifically because of what I was told and they needed to get it on time. They were…until the last minute (I was literally in the parking lot when they called to cancel the appt).

The credit union I went with sent me a check written to Lucid and me and I had to sign it over. A week before my delivery date I finalized the loan and they sent the check so the few days my deliver was delayed turned out to be a non-issue.

Not sure how your bank does it but maybe they do the same so it will be okay?
I ll call them up on Monday and explain the situation. Hopefully it ll all be fine.

I was able to close my loan once I had the final invoice and VIN, and then had a check that was good for another 30 days. This may be an option for you.

I used PenFed Credit Union (open to everyone) as they had the best rates by far (like, 1.5% lower than Lucid/BoA) and were super easy to work with.
Mine is PenFed as well.

Has anyone taken delivery of a Gravity in the Seattle area? Or about to take a delivery in the next few days?

I also used PenFed and agree on the rates. They have been great to work with also.

Does anyone have photos of Abyss Black with platinum trim? Extra points if it’s got the largest wheels, thanks!

For what is worth:

I went for a test drive Gravity today (Tysons Galleria, Virginia). 30-minutes, by myself (no SA in the car with me). Amazing car. I asked the SA how many Gravity have been delivered in that location alone (Tysons). He said slightly over a hundred. I don’t think he was lying. He also said he had 54 Gravity orders (him alone, personally, one SA in that location) that he has yet to match with a Gravity. It looks like there is good demand

Nope. Just 9

So I am not too happy with Lucid. I got called by my SA last Friday 8/15 stating that my car is done production and is preparing for delivery. Delivery will be done by the end of this month. She asked me to look start looking into auto financing and give her the info once I get a pre approval. I got my credit pulled this week and got some pre approvals. Now I reached out and I am being told it's on the wait-list and probably will be shipped after 4 weeks. All the pre-approvals expire in 30 days. I am upset that my credit report got pulled for no reason.
🤦‍♂️

I don’t think the SAs have the numbers. Around 8/10 I asked the same question at Tysons and was told “under 10” Gravity deliveries. Same with KOP a few days later. “Under 10” total. Could they have done 5x in 10 days. Sure. Except there was supposedly a hold for the last week.

Regardless, not trying to argue delivery numbers, more highlighting there’s definitely not consistent data from SAs.

As for demand, I believe Lucid is being honest when they say demand far outstrips supply today. Not worried about demand right now.

I was told by my SA in Scottsdale after my test drive yesterday there were 7 DE left. He also said the order rate after test drive is between 40-50% and test drives were nearly booked out for the next two weeks. Demand is certainly not a problem.

Just to add...
I live just outside Park City, UT. Delivery of the vehicle would either be at Denver, Cherry Creek Mall, or your home. There is a Lucid mobile tech in Salt Lake City that provides excellent service. There are at least two Lucids that are nearby that look awesome. I am waiting patiently, not really, for my Gravity DE to enter production. There is a friend of mine that took delivery of a Lucid Gravity DE (home delivery) in Alpine, UT. It is worth the wait.
So I too live in Park City. I assume you elected home delivery and if so - assuming you’ve gotten it - how it went, particularly the guidance/overview that was provided. We’ve ordered a white GGT, small wheels, with virtually all options checked - didn’t need the DE’s extra horsepower and wanted the added mileage of a GGT. Our Denver SA (Dennis) says late fall at earliest due to technology package delays… hopefully by Christmas??? Would love to see yours sometime if ever convenient.

That's surprising; Natick was getting a few on every carrier -- I think there were at least 6 deliveries for end of Q2 (incl. mine) and when I went back they had several more. I would have assumed that DC was a priority market too.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic; there was a recent article and media hubbub about how Lucid had “only sold 9 gravities” because certain “journalists” have no common sense or desire to do any actual journalism like confirming facts and sources, and we all laughed about it here because this forum alone has seen more than 9 delivered lol, hence the joke.

My bad. :p
