Gravity Delivery Discussion

I feel like Lucid should always show the car in the max height setting, even though I prefer lower height, because the reality is American buyers want their cars to look like obese tall SUVs and Gravity looks more like an SUV with the higher suspension setting. I think the slammed setting looks best but that’s because I want a sports wagon.

I’m curious about the power package implementation. Those of you who have taken delivery without power, is there a blank cover plate where the power receptacles would be? Or is the trim piece solid with no apparent cutout? Pictures would be interesting. What I am wondering is if the wiring harness is in place and just the inverter and receptacles are missing.

Perhaps show it at various height settings and attract a wider variety of customers, but if only one has to be shown, I agree on the max setting.

The times I've exited the car at max height, it's quite a step down.

Test drive vehicle I drove did not have power pac. There is unmovable cover plate where plug would normally be in front and back.

Thanks for the info
The cover plates look identical (to me) to the little spring flap that was there in the studio car I saw with power. I now have my car, so I can take a pic tomorrow. My only issue with the covers is the constant reminder I don't have the power package. It's like "back in the day" when buttons were all over cars and some were just blank...

If is obvious that the Gravity deliveries are tiny because it is difficult to fine recent YouTube reviews of owner vehicles. Reviews are of showroom vehicles.
Our Dream Edition has been in production with a VIN for 2 months. Sales called a week ago and said we would get delivery this month or next.
Today he called and scheduled deliver at the Plano, TX showroom for this Friday. I was surprised. He said we would be the 3rd Gravity delivery in the DFW area. I am a little nervous after hearing about the various issues with fob, HUD, Frunk, & etc. But it is the wife's car and she is focused on the beauty so we will likely be ok. I love my Tesla FSD so I couldn't drive it.

Got my car in PA and then drove back to MD, so I have plenty of thoughts. I guess I will share them in one of the other threads. SA was VERY patient, I took about 1.5-2 hours - but it could have taken 20 minutes if I didn't go through my checklist and sit through the walkthrough with him. I saw the demo Gravity they were using for drives and then two others on the HUGE lot and then two in service area (could have been PDI). They also had one in the "showroom". All were green or black.

SA did say they've delivered "very few" in the area, folks are super excited to get them, but the software is a bit "janky" right now and there aren't really enough parts to support service yet. Nothing we didn't know and kind of refreshing to hear. He also clearly LOVED the car, Lucid and his job, so it was fun.

Won't write too much more here other than worth the wait, everything great everyone else said and yes, some weird stuff, but nothing crazy (yet)...

So one thing I noticed - There ARE 2-3 videos in the car about getting to know the Gravity - are those online? They should be online versus the bum link we al get when the delivery emails come.

Interesting occurence as I returned home from my maiden voyage; notification appeared on far left main display "Software Update Successful".
Car still on 3.2.2. I'll investigate more tomorrow.
I get the same error message just about every time I unlock and enter my Gravity. I think it's weird too. Maybe a ghost of the 3.2.2 update?

Otherwise, congratulations on your Gravity!!

I optioned pretty much everything except HUD. Here are a few items I’ll look for
1. Paint / finish / stains / touch ups
2. Homelink config
3. Setting up profiles
4. Setting up the app, keys, backup card etc
5. Confirming the car works at a Tesla supercharger

is there is a more comprehensive delivery checklist ?
