This thread has become rather long, so I apologize for not being able to find this; didn't someone say that their build on the Lucid Motors page went from 'in production' with an assigned VIN back to 'Order Confirmed' for no apparent reason? I had/have a VIN assigned, and was told my Gravity was built earlier this week, but now the home page is back to the order confirmed status. Not going to bother my SA with it just yet, but thought it was odd.

that is an amazing low cost premium. $3500 from CA through GEICO. CA sucks for insurance now.

Maybe I could make you feel better by showing the price trajectory of our HO coverage in Florida over the past few years?

This happened to me. I was later told by my SA that I was mistakenly assigned a "Canada VIN" and they had to revoke and reassign it since I am in the USA.

I’d like to know if Gravity owners can immediately charge at NACS superchargers ? Or do they need to wait like Air owners for the ability?
Superchargers work with Gravity natively, and now. Many of our fellow Gravity owners who've received their cars the last couple of weeks are reporting flawless connectivity and seamless charging. Right out of the box!

I’m really curious how the 9 new Gravity owners are charging their vehicles now, since using Tesla’s superchargers isn’t an option yet? Were Lucid-branded NACS home chargers delivered with the 9 vehicles?

The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 claims to be the first vehicle with NACS port, but I’m not sure if they’ve been delivered yet and charging natively with Tesla’s superchargers.
They are reporting flawless charging experiences on the Superchargers.

Just a quick update - I placed my GGT order in early May, and I just heard from my SA that it is "scheduled" to go into production in late August. (AG, Yosemite, 20/21, 5-seat, DD Premium ... everything but Tech and Towing).

That's about the time frame I was expecting/hoping for.

Now, I brace for disappointment, I guess.

How long did it take for your SA to reach out to you after placing an order? I know they are busy, but it's almost a week since I put down the deposit. Am I impatient?

I placed my order in late April and SA reached out to me within a day. But that was back when the delay in HUD and removal, then re-inclusion of Tech but with “Fall Delivery” added. I think one of the main reasons he reached out to me was to confirm I wanted Tech and knew that it would not be available until Fall.

So, I got an email from him shortly after I placed my order ... maybe a day or two? But I had also been corresponding with him a bit to set up and answer questions about my test drive (which was for an Air, ironically).

Before yesterday's email -- which was virtually identical to the initial email he sent me in May, tbh - I hadn't heard from him at all (but I had not reached out, either, on the assumption that there wouldn't be any news for at least a couple months). I replied back and asked if there were any updates about the status of my car that caused him to reach out again, and he said that a) he is supposed to stay in contact with his clients monthly (he hadn't in June), and b) that my GGT was "scheduled" to enter production in August.

Sorry if that's too much play-by-play, but I thought context might be informative.

I’ve done about 10 to 15 Supercharger sessions at different locations. They’ve all been readily available and instantly worked. I was passing through Kettleman City and saw that 8 EA chargers were free so decided to stop at that location to see how fast a charge I could get. By time I arrived only 2 were available and even though they said they were working they were frozen and wouldn’t start. Just drove across the road to Tesla and surprise, surprise it worked. 100% success rate on Tesla, 0% success on EA through no fault of the Gravity. EA is an absolute joke!

As much as it fries my grits to say it, Superchargers will be our default choice on road trips in the Gravity. Dealing with the CCS infrastructure, especially EA, has been the one persistent blight of Lucid roadtripping over the past three and a half years. I’ve not even going to bother with trying CCS chargers if there is a Supercharger within range.

Yeah here’s how I resolve my cognitive dissonance on using Tesla superchargers. Elon makes me recoil in horror, but Tesla is a lot more than Elon and many good people work there and the supercharger division really are the best at charging, and by supercharging at Tesla I’m not funding Grok “MechaHitler” AI (no joke, that’s what the AI called itself after sexually harassing the X CEO who just resigned), nor am I funding X, which I don’t have an account for. Like when I drove a gas car, I’d stop at an Exxon station sometimes even though they’re more evil than BP. I already drive a Saudi funded car anyway, and they’re not so nice to women, journalists or LGBTQ people. I promise I’m not trying to be political in a non politics thread, just my thought process on it.

So I caved. Switched out my DE for an already built GT that is almost configured the same. Somehow I'm gonna have manage without the extra power and all, but it just suits my needs more to have this car sooner than later and I will be MORE than ecstatic to get it! Those of you hanging in there, I'm gonna keep watching and being super happy to see each and every one of you get your Dream fulfilled!

Same. I would have certainly enjoyed the extra power, but that was never really the draw from the beginning. The ability to get a GT sooner made me switch earlier this week as well.

Texted my SA asking if there was a 7-seat GT with tech package anywhere in the country available sooner rather than later. He said there was not. Honestly I'm not sure I believe him.

When I initially reserved 7 seat GT a few weeks ago with tech package I was told end of summer/early fall production, so I’d believe your SA. I ended up switching to a Dream edition but only cuz I saw a black one in person and loved it and realized the range wheels resulted in very little range penatly for the extra 250hp, so I felt it was worth it. I also have family coming into town in October so it would be nice to fit everyone in the Gravity so if I can get it sooner then great.

The tech package is a fall option bc of the HUD.
